Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

Best pizza ever, anywhere! We used to have this pizza up in the DC, MD VA (DMV) area, and it was the best. When we found out it was coming to Ormond Beach, we were ecstatic! You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas, and the rest of the menu is good, too.

Pizza comes in small, medium, or large and is cut into squares (love it). The crust is thin but not floppy and is a nice, somewhat pastry flakey goodness. The sauce is a great balance of savory and sweet.

We sometimes can't make up our minds on what awesome toppings to get, So at times, we get 3 small pizzas like one small spring chicken (incredible!), and one pepperoni with mushrooms or with pineapple and onions and a sausage and mushroom. I don't recommend getting both the pepperoni and sausage on the same pizza, only because their pepperoni is thick cut and with both pepperoni and sausage it can be a bit greasy but totally workable (just dab it...lol).

Try the toasted ravioli, pasta or even salads and I believe you'll be happy with those but the pizza is a must try.

For the pizza and beer drinkers, I do wish they offered a better selection of beer, but they do have a few.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE PIZZA ONLY….. WE HAVE BEEN A LEDO PIZZA FAN FOR DECADES & WILL BE UNTIL WE DROP DEAD!! …….. Do not listen to the negative reviews because they are probably from competition. Having lived in Maryland where LEDO started, we stood in line for hours in College Park for this pizza. There is a franchise in another Fl City that ships pizzas to LEDO fans in other areas of the state because WE LOVE & MISS LEDO. Yes, the pizza is different …… but SO DELICIOUS. The sauce is divine, flavored so perfectly and sweet. (you can buy the sauce at the online LEDO store or at the restaurant). The crust is more like pastry and again so delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. You also get more pizza with a square shaped pizza !….. better value. Their other items including soups & salads are good too. ………….. All I can say is try it and I hope you love it as much as the LEDO CULT LOVERS do. BTY…, Oprah is from Maryland. One of her tv shows decades ago was ‘The 10 Best Pizzas in the USA’. This was after she moved to Chicago. And guess who was at the top three on her list!? LEDO🍕 to the franchise owner of this location… begging you to open a LEDO IN...

So nice to see another location here in Florida. We really missed Ledo's from back home. The food is just as great as I remember. Fresh, high quality ingredients, their signature flaky crust, the sauce and house dressing they're famous for, and the Old Bay options that remind us of home.

The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent. Our server, Nicole, was fun and helpful. Couldn't have been a better experience, and we'll definitely be back often.

I'm noticing some comments about the food... Ledo's pizza is its own thing. If you're expecting a traditional pie, it can throw you for a bit of a loop. But if you're open to a unique take with that flaky crust, flavorful sauce, and amazingly high quality toppings, you won't be disappointed. The rest of the menu benefits from this philosophy. The strombolis and calzones go so well with that crust, with the same sauce and toppings.

Over the last few decades I've probably tried most of what they have to offer and have never had anything less than a great experience. Based on what we had today, this location embraces those...
