So Sweet Boutique - BEST PROM Dress Shop, Formal, Quince, & Pageant Gown Store - Orlando Florida's LARGEST Selection — Attraction in Oviedo

Drove there from an hour away to purchase a $700 dress. We went back when it was our turn and the consultant helped zip her dress up, my daughter tried the dress and was standing there waiting for her consultant. We are sitting there waiting, the dress fit a bit big but we were waiting for the girl to come over and give us our options.. 10/15 mins go by and I ask another consultant “hi, do you know where our consultant is?” - Our consultant comes out of a fitting room (she was helping another family) and says “hi, I’m here” and hurries over to where my daughter is with the dress on.. I mention how it’s a bit big, is there another size for her to try on?- other consultants jumped in and explained that no, there aren’t but we could order it. I said “great, we’ll do that” so my daughter then goes back in the dressing room to take off her dress. She comes out and again, our consultant disappeared with the other family and we were standing there like “now what?” Nothing.. we looked at the each of dresses and just walked out. I used to work retail, these ladies for whatever reason didnt want to sell to us, maybe our dress didnt offer them a big commission because it was not on sale. It was not a dress that they wanted to clear out of the racks so maybe the commission (if any) was low. Maybe we didn’t look like we had money?- I went with dress name and model number with intention to purchase same day. Either the commission wasn’t good enough or they don’t like Hispanic people. I will never know. We felt ignored and my daughter was even upset because she felt ignored and she thought this dress shopping for prom was going to feel special. We all left feeling let down. They didn’t try to help us, they just gave us a dress to try on and left us alone. Didnt come up to us to see how the dress fit and the options we had.. they didn’t ask us if we wanted to see more dresses, none of that. For whatever reason, they didn’t want to sell to us. Such a disappointment. And no, I didn’t complain in store because my daughter was upset and wanted to leave and I didn’t want to make this a worse experience. We ended up leaving and going to another boutique and ended up buying a $900+ Jovani gown that will be shipped to us. 🥰 On vacation from Canada🇨🇦 and decided to drop in. The mall was under construction/not entirely occupied so we were skeptical. THEN we were greeted by Skylar and were immediately put at ease. She was soon joined by H.M. and they had a wealth of information and experience to share. They assisted in getting dresses zipped/tied and were able to tuck/clip dresses so we could see what minor alterations would do. ❤️ LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!❤️ We did not want a champagne serving boutique with staff who said what they thought we wanted to hear - we wanted helpful, knowledgeable and respectful experience and are SO grateful we stopped in.

This should be a DESTINATION BOUTIQUE for all parents with teens in need of a dress. After having a horrible experience at Cinderella's Dresses at the Florida Mall, we didnt think we'd ever find a decent place for my daughters prom dress. We decided to give So Sweet Boutique a shot after reading some of their reviews. This was the BEST decision ever! The level of customer service far exceeded my expectations. Not only did So Sweet Boutique have hundreds of unique dresses to choose from, but they register the dress purchased so that no one else from the same school will have the same dress!! How amazing is that?!? They are true to their name by being an actual Boutique. The team there are amazing. They are patient, helpful and make the overall experience simply wonderful. Shopping with my daughter for her special day and having that core memory is something that meant the world to me (hopefully to her too!). What initially began as a frustrating experience at the other store, quickly turned around. I'm genuinely gratefully to the staff for helping in making this a joyous occasion for me and my daughter.
