The Avant Garde'n — Attraction in Ozark

I love going to The Avant Garden! It is truly a place that you will never know what you may come across when you go into the store. It’s an excellent place to find used and new home decor, furniture, and paintings. The staff will say hello to you by your name and quickly offer coffee, flavored water, and cookies! I appreciate the quality of the products that they sell including Howard products, CeCe Caldwells chalk paint, and Keepers of the Light candles. I have purchased all of these products and have been happy with every one of them. You cannot find many small businesses that take the time out to get to know the customer. However, this is truly not the case with the Avant. This is a great reason why I keep going back. I appreciate how the Avant provides services back to the local community with Garden Gate Provisions. You have a beautiful store, however, we drove from Branson on a Sunday to see your store and we looked online and it said your store was open. We got to your store and the doors were locked. We looked online and it said that your doors were open for business, however, as we scold farther down your hours showed that you opened it 12 AM on Sunday instead of 12 PM, which indicated you were open. I realize that’s an error, but when someone looks just to see if you’re open and it says you’re open, it was a disappointment. We were in our camper and truck, and it was difficult to find a spot to park, still waiting in the sun was not a lot of fun. Absolutely love this store. Went to an antique store that is right next to them and as I was coming out I seen that they had some interesting Halloween decorations outside which obviously brought me into here! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile, and they asked me if I wanted any water, coffee, or a cookie while I shopped. I've never been to an antique store where they offered me refreshments while I was there. I'm a broke college student so offering me food and coffee will keep me coming back for more. Prices aren't bad at all and have a nice selection of items. They do have a room to host parties which looked nice (for small parties it looked like it could hold about 10-15 people).
