We love it here.

Note to out of towners: The wildlife is protected.. Stop trying to throw rocks at the protected wildlife. The sea lions/seals that come to shore are protected as well. Stop trying to catch the crabs only to smash them against the rocks. We saw this from a family with older, nearly adult children while the Dad just sat back and let it happen. I said something and the Dad said, "they drove from Kentucky and they can do what they want". The older kids stopped but started again as we were packing up to leave. Now that California is open to everyone, come and be respectful to the area that is hosting you/your...

Great beach to visit and see tide pools! I came here after going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and honestly I enjoyed the beach more. The beach was very clean (please pick up after yourself and keep it that way), and it was free. No parking fees either. If you stand near a tide pool, and stay still you may see some little crabs walk around.

Just a reminder, please be kind to nature, don't pick up sea life, and don't stand on the rocks. You might be standing on a sea animal and not know it. (Anemone has...

Amazing tidepools and sweet little cove beaches, but parking is at a premium. If you're visiting from out of town, you'll be fighting locals. Beware. PSA: this area is gorgeous, but also prone to sneaker waves (sudden large waves, even when the ocean seems calm) and riptides (powerful underwater currents that can easily pull you out. Be careful and respect the power of the ocean. **Never turn your back to the ocean** That selfie on the rocks isn't worth it.
