Seventeen Mile Drive Village Apartment Homes — Local services in Pacific Grove

A year ago after we sold our properties in Fresno/Clovis we decided to take the leap and move to the Peninsula. We made a few road trips over searching for a rental, but it was really difficult to satisfy our expectations – a property 1000 sq. ft., reasonable cost per sq. ft. and the amenities we wanted, e.g., private and available parking, pool, spa, in-unit laundry, fitness room. The area is, of course, phenomenally beautiful, but we still wanted what we wanted. As we checked out a number of rentals, we found the 17 Mile Dr. Village Apartments and we met Erica. Although we started the process with her to secure an apt, we kept looking. And we also kept coming back to Erica, who was patient, accommodating and helpful as we worked through our decision to rent. We’ve lived here for a year next month and loved it. And, yes, we have private parking (and more for our visitors), plenty of room in our 2 bdrm/2 bath apt, a swimming pool and a spa, a fitness room, washer/dryer in our apartment and awesome support from Erica and Francisco. Whatever we’ve needed, they’ve provided and always professionally and truly accommodating to our requests. Friendly, funny, supportive, quick to help – it’s been great having Erica and Francisco to go to. We lovingly refer to our apartment as the “tree house” because we look out at the beautiful trees from our 2nd floor apartment. And we are just up the street from the Asilomar State Beach, Spanish Bay, the gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean and wonderful walking trails along Sunset Drive. We’re grateful every day for...

I left my house that I lived in for 24 years to move to Pacific Grove to be closer to our relatives. I was very worried about the idea of renting, especially because I am a very particular person who wants everything perfect, I had my doubts that anyone would meet my standards - I was wrong. From the moment I met Dixie and Francisco at 17 Mile Drive Village I started to feel very much at ease. They made all of the changes I wanted to our apartment, to exactly the way I wanted them, every little detail was perfect! I actually found it hard to believe, but they did it, and they made me feel so comfortable and at home that all my anxieties melted away. I really can't thank them enough for them making what I feared would be an incredibly bad situation into one I truly enjoyed. But being a bit of a cynic, I then thought that this joy couldn't last, and after moving in thought the service and happiness would fade - I was wrong again. That was a year and a half ago, and to this day they still take incredibly good care of us and see to all our wants and needs. I couldn't be happier, I'm in one of the most beautiful places in the world, in one of the nicest places in the world, with two of the kindest people...

We have been here since December 2018 and have been so pleased to call it home. We've wanted to live near the beach for some time and 17 Mile is the perfect location and housing option for us. The fact the community is quiet and so well kept and that we have had no issues at all is a commendation to Francisco, the Maintenance manager, and Andi, the former Community manager. It amazes me that only the two of them manage it all and do it so well! We were sad to see Andi leave last week yet very happy she is making a move that's right for her. Everything in the community seems to run like clock work. And Francisco answers all our requests so very quickly, friendly and thoroughly. We greatly appreciate such professionalism and amazing customer service. We are also very luck to have him as our Next Door neighbor. We got a bonus! :) Since we've been here we only have experienced a very kind community of neighbors who are friendly an respectful of each other. Again, I applaud the hard work that Francisco and Andi do to keep our community a great place to live so we can fully enjoy the blessed and beautiful town of PG. We could not ask for more....
