Crystal Sauna&Spa — Attraction in Palisades Park

Wanted to enjoy the experience of one of these Korean spas but was a little reluctant to try King Sauna because it felt a little intimidating. They are almost all Asian customers and it is so crowded and busy. I was there once and took a quick tour with one of the staff. It was pretty nice and had many good qualities, but I was looking for a more "boutique" feel and Sol Sauna was just what I was looking for. I wanted a place where I could bring my girlfriend that was a little more quiet and private. This was the place. Located on the floor of Rodeo Plaza in Palisades Park it is a peaceful retreat. Not big, but big enough. Not many people, but a few. We enjoyed body scrubs and then we sat in the two different saunas. One was a salt sauna and it was just the two of us which was great. After sweating it up we came out and relaxed for a little while in their comfortable chairs while our masseuses prepared our room. Then we enjoyed a soothing and thorough Swedish and Shiatsu massage. Got all our muscles relaxed and soothed with oils and nice pressure points and then they also did the walk on our backs which felt surprisingly good! They know how to use those little feet! When we were done they gave us some cold water with lemon and we were encouraged to relax and leave at our leisure. They really wanted to ensure our experience was satisfying. This might be the first time I’ve ever left a review, but I know how valuable they are for businesses (especially small ones) and prospective guests.

I’m still floating from the incredible body scrub I had this evening! While I often exfoliate with hand scrubs at home, my skin has never felt or looked as amazing as it does now. Initially, I only planned to use the sauna and steam room, but I decided to try the affordable body scrub for the first time—and I’m so glad I did.

I believe my body therapist’s name was DeeDee (or simply Dee). She was thorough yet calming, creating such a relaxing experience. I was fortunate to have the space to myself, which made it even more enjoyable.

Very unhappy with this place. Not clean, and they don’t use new tools or equipment for each customer. They reuse for everything. I think that’s why I got an infection from there. Asa I got out, i had little marks on my face But I thought it was not a big deal, I thought it’s gonna go away but it gets worse next day and after next day. So I called this place what happened and They said the owner is gonna come on sundy so went on sunday, And She said I have no proof that i got an infection from there. She was so stubborn its not from her place. Swear to god, As soon as I got out of the place i got the irritation mark, it got bumpy and got worse. She didn't even say sorry.
