My phone fell off a counter and severely cracked the screen. As soon as it happened, I tried to come in to see what they could do to help. Door locked and a sign saying they're closed for training. Several days and attempts later, they're still closed for training. So, I scheduled an appointment and got the confirmation email thinking it was all good. Show up for said appointment to be told they have no record of the appointment and that the technician should have messaged me back, which never happened. Also, that they wouldn't be open until tomorrow and that they'd likely have to order the part which they can't do until they're open tomorrow. Meanwhile, glass shards continue to fall off and slice up my fingers. Similarly, my previous device had a cracked screen that I tried to get repaired here, but that sign was in the door every day for 2 weeks before I gave up and just went to the wireless store to just upgrade my device to the one I have now. How does a business expect to stay in business if they're closed 90% of the time? This is not a good way to run a business. I never leave negative reviews, but my experience with ubreakifix has been miserable and...
Read moreThe people were nice, besides not being honest. Not sure if Joshua isn’t knowledgeable about desktops or what but he lied to me about what was wrong with my desktop, or he is not qualified. Either way I would not recommend taking your pc here to get it fixed. I was told my ssd is the reason my pc doesnt boot up however you dont need an ssd to get to the bios. My problem is most likely my motherboard but they wanted to charge me 260 + tax to replace my working ssd. It could still be damaged but joshua even said himself he put a new ssd in my computer and it worked which isnt true. I got home and took the ssd out still no post to bios… Very disappointed, if i didnt know what i was doing i would have paid 300 dollars just for my computer to still not work. Whats the point of offering free diagnostics if you lie about the problem? I recommend going to a smaller lesser known repair place as these places usually have your best interest in mind. Places like ubreakitifixit asurion and geek squad just want your...
Read moreTRAVEL TO JAX or ANYWHERE ELSE to get your phone fixed. These employees want nothing to do with actually helping people. Wasted my time for MONTHS! When my entire problem was covered under an extended warranty. Went to a Ubreakifix in Jax and hands down the most helpful people.
Came in about a month ago for the employee to tell me that 90% of people who are having the problem I had with my phone ended up having to be sent to Google to be repaired. So I set my phone to Google to only have them send it back. Went back to this place for them to simply diagnose what was wrong and the employee told me that there was nothing that they could do. Almost seemed as if the employee did not want the work. He proposed that I would still be $350 to fix my phone. I then called and talked to Google and they told me all of it should be covered under warranty. Therefore I took my business elsewhere to another you break I fix up in Jax and they handled it no problem. DO NOT BRING...
