There are several times I could have rated this shop but given a cordial relationship my family developed I overlooked alot. Not this time. We paid to have 4 tires put on my daughters 2013 Ford Escape Titanium AWD and it included tires, mount, balance and I was told required 4 tire alignment and not just the front as it is AWD. That was May 31,2024. My daughter has hardly traveled 10k since then and she went to have the car inspected elsewhere as we stopped using the shop towards the end of last year. Her car failed for the back tires tread was far below the acceptable level. We checked the tire pressure to be sure they were not over or underinflated causing the uneven wear. My daughter called Patrick several times to get the tires replaced as this appears to be an issue with junk tires or the back 4 tires were not aligned as we were lead to believe. Patrick took a photo of the tires and there is a gash on the outside of one tire from 2 weeks ago when I drove the vehicle and hit the curb at Ross shopping plaza. Patrick has told my daughter Tire Rack will not honor the warranty on BOTH because of the gash on the rear passenger tire. It’s on one tire but will not honor either tire. Patrick told my daughter he would call back on dofferent days and did not and she had to keep calling (this is common for Patrick). She needed the shop to honor the quality of the workmanship of installation and the product and will not. He said he would charge her 169 per tire (his cost) other wise it would be $25 more for each tire. He would “slap a sticker on it” and install the tires. My daughter would go back to the garage she paid $100 to inspect for the legit sticker. I believe the shop should honor the tires. This appears to be an install and quality issue and not at all the gash. That issue two weeks ago would not cause the tires to wear so irregularly and so low. Against my better judgment I reached out to Patrick directly and asked him to make right on this issue and he refused and now tells me my daughter can take the car elsewhere. Explain that to me. Tire Rack or Patrick refuses to honor the irregular wear of the two rear tires because of the gash on one tire. I was turning from a parking spot not even going 5 miles an hour not traveling at 45 and hit a curb. The two tires wore irregularly and in a way we could not have anticipated. My daughter is a single mother and needs her vehicle to be safe. That is why she was sure to get the vehicle winter ready mid year.
There have been issues with the quality of tinting on the first vehicle he tinted (which is why we then went back to First Class for tint jobs). There were many issues trying to get Patrick to respond to my daughter’s ex for 3 months - 3 months and Patrick even took the engine out of his car sent it to VA and never mentioned any of that to the owner of the car. Would not return calls. Had the car for THREE MONTHS.
There were many other issues I would have to bring my cars back for.
So for Patrick to tell me my daughter didn’t or would not have had a 4 wheel alignment when she got her tires, I will try to attach the receipt detailing the services rendered.
Here is an excerpt from Patricks text to me about the above: “The bill for her tires were 189 each plus install. The rep I use offered them to me 25 under what we pay for them as a courtesy to her. I offered to install them for free and put a sticker on it for free as well. The gash is what it is and even if it happened yesterday, no one can or will warranty it. It doesn’t cause the wear, but is rejected for that. The front end was absolutely lined up, but the rear is fixed and has no adjustments that can even be made. I recommend at this point having her take it elsewhere.”
What Patrick is doing is reprehensible! This is not about anything except him leaving a customer high and dry and not honoring what he sold or the work he did or did not perform but charged for. Either way, avoid...
Read moreHighly disappointing to say the least. Patrick seemed nice and easy to work with in the beginning, but many of my questions and concerns where always left unanswered. I originally was supposed to get a custome box and a 12in sub, since I already had the doors and head unit done. He gave me a overwhelming price but I agreed since it's my rolling office and I really enjoy good quality music. After a few days of thinking about what was being done I began to become much more concerned of how my door speakers sounded to then have a 12in sub added. I called multiple times and Patrick insisted that he knew exactly how they sounded etc. I called one last time before the appointment and told him he NEEDED to listen to them before install because they didn't sound right. He listened and agreed that something was wrong with the wiring. So the plans for the sub changed drastically. He told me the new plan was for Sony door speakers, and a sub to coexist with my head unit. Upon pickup I immediately noticed that there was alpine door speakers installed instead. It wasnt a big deal to me because I looked them up and seen they were $280 so it made more comfortable with the already crazy price I paid. Once the sub was "turned up" and I noticed absolutely zero difference I immediately flipped the box over and seen what sub it was. Installed was a $90 kicker..... I also noticed the sub was supposed to be facing up towards the cabin instead on the floor which it isn't. I called and expressed my frustration on how is the sub (the thing I came in for) the cheapest thing done in the whole job. Patrick simply gave me the random attitude like he usually did and only gave me the option of paying the difference for a new sub. Patrick also would give me an attitude when I'd ask how long or when I'd be taken during the times I'd be waiting with an APPOINTMENT. He'd tell me over and over again that he's the only person working and that he'll get to it whenever he has time. Stay CLEAR of this shop. I could've and absolutely should've did it myself and would've saved over a...
Read moreWent to this company after reading the reviews. First the appointment set was not accurate. We were told to drop truck off in morning and we could pick up later that day when done. We dropped truck off and I then called Patrick to let him know what percent tint and when would it be done and he said the next day. After speaking with him I said ok than there was a mis-communication But Patrick said “I am working in the truck now but if people like you keep calling I won’t get it done today so I am doing my best!” Ok wow. So we picked the truck up later that afternoon and paid double than what other places was going for but I’m I said if the job is good than I don’t mind. Well he told us let the tint go and contact them after 5 days if not satisfied. Ok. Called him 5 days later to advise there were gaps in tint that was short and not happy with how the job came out. Looked like a rush job. He said just bring truck back and he Patrick will take a look. We went back and he advised he would put “tape” where the windows was cut short. He did say he would redo the 4 truck windows and tape the front and back to fix gap. So I pay to get tape now? The strip of tint on the windshield is not even. He told us he would tape that as well to match the tint. He then proceeded to tel us he has customers that pays hundreds of dollars for jobs and people feel they can knit pick. So I am knit picking for a job that was rushed and not done correctly. His customer service attitude is poor. I don’t care what anyone else pays I care about the job I paid for that’s not done. Now he offers to drop truck back off for another day and half to tape and tint again. I was planning on having 2 more cars tinted but after the customer service I will go else where. Horrible attitude Horrible performance and most of all not worth $320 we paid for a...
