It's gotten greatest in Palo Alto for many years running for a reason! Jiong, Antonio, Julie, Steve and Janeel. You can't go wrong with any of the therapists but I absolutely recommend any of those 5!! If you have Keloids like I do DONT BE AFRAID! They're all professionals. Youre safe.

Had my first massage today. It was good. Joy asked me my preference but given this was my first time I didn't know what to expect.

Review for Dr. Susan Cheng, Doctor of Oriental Medicine & Acupuncturist

Dr. Susan Cheng is an absolute miracle worker! The same day of my car accident, I was in excruciating neck and shoulder pain. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after just a few needles, I experienced instant relief. I walked in hurting and walked out feeling like myself again—without needing any medication!

Dr. Cheng’s expertise, gentle approach, and deep understanding of healing make her truly exceptional. She listens, cares, and delivers results. If you’re in pain and looking for immediate, effective relief, I highly recommend her. She’s a lifesaver!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a massage at MTC, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a relaxing escape from the daily grind. The reception area exuded a calming atmosphere, and the staff was warm and welcoming. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the soothing music to the subtle fragrance in the air. It was evident that they prioritize creating a tranquil environment. My massage therapist, Jiong, was highly skilled and attentive to my specific needs. Before the session began, they took the time to discuss any areas of concern and tailor the treatment accordingly. Throughout the massage, Jiong maintained a perfect balance of pressure, ensuring a therapeutic yet comfortable experience. The massage itself was a rejuvenating journey for both my body and mind. Jiong seamlessly integrated various techniques, leaving me feeling not only physically relaxed but also mentally refreshed. The use of essential oils added an extra layer of indulgence to the overall experience. The facilities were clean, and the attention to hygiene was commendable. Post-massage, I was offered a refreshing beverage and given time to ease back into the real world. The quality of service and the overall experience justify the cost. It's an investment in self-care that I'll happily make again. In summary, MTC offers a sanctuary for those seeking a top-notch massage experience. If you're looking to escape the stresses of everyday life and treat yourself to a blissful retreat, this is the place to be.

FYI Phoebe, Antonio, & Steve are great for deep tissue. Dario is great for back decompression & adjustments.

Adding to my review as I saw Dario again.

Dario is someone with a chiropractic background, he has a unique perspective as a massage therapist. His deep understanding of the musculoskeletal system and how it interacts with the nervous system allows him to provide targeted and effective treatments to his clients. Through a combination of manual therapy techniques, including massage, joint manipulation, +. He aims to restore balance and function to the body. I appreciate his thorough assessments and personalized treatment tailored to my specific needs. I was seeking for relief from chronic pain, recovering from an injury, he strived & exceeded my expectations. Overall, I praise the effectiveness of his treatment and the compassionate care he provided. I am feeling not only physically better but also more empowered and in tune with my body. I am grateful for the opportunity to have had a session with Dario. His work as a massage therapist with a chiropractic background has provided me with relief from years pain.

8/2/24 Session w/ Rebecca: Rebecca’s thorough approach and attention to detail during the session was truly impressive. I particularly appreciated how effectively you addressed the tension in my legs. The relief from the tightness I was experiencing was noticeable and greatly appreciated. Additionally, the work she did on my back was exceptional; I felt a significant reduction in pain, which has made a substantial difference in my overall comfort...

I'm giving them two stars instead of one because the front desk people were very friendly--one of them was very helpful with all my questions about deep tissue massages.

My appointment was with Amy, who appeared normal, friendly, and professional at first. It wasn't until about fifteen minutes into the massage that she started talking to me about the Bible. First, she told me a story about Noah and why homosexuality is a sin, and that she thinks the US is going to be destroyed because gay marriage is legal now.

I'm a very nonconfrontational person, and given that I'm half naked with her digging her fingers into my spine I didn't feel comfortable arguing with her. I don't know, I'm not great at handling weird situations.

I tried to redirect her to talking about pressure points, problem areas, etc. She kept returning to Christianity. At one point she said the government is trying to put chips in our heads with the antichrist in them. I can't help but laugh typing this out. I mentioned my dad is Hindu and she told me I need to accept Jesus Christ into my heart, that he is the "one true god". Later on, we were talking about stretching exercises, and I asked about yoga. She strongly suggested I against yoga, saying it's a way of worshipping Indian gods, and that strange things happen when you do it.

Amy even told me there have been multiple complaints about her in the past. How is this woman still working here? Her comments made me feel like I was being worked on by a crazy woman, and that if I said something against her religion she might actually hurt me.

I complained to the receptionist when I came out and she was pretty surprised and apologized. Offered to get the operations manager for me, but I just wanted to get out of there.

So here I am, sitting at the Starbucks across the street from them writing this. I don't know if their other massage therapists are crazy, maybe the rest of them are great, but it definitely says something that they've already talked to Amy about this behavior multiple times and she's still...

This 5 star rating is for my massage therapist Amber. She is the best massage therapist I have ever come across. Initially when I wanted to book my first session at massage therapy center Palo Alto, I was so confused on which therapist to opt for. Hence I’m writing this post with my experience to help others. I have taken multiple sessions with Amber and tried other therapist at this center before writing my review. Amber’s massage techniques are unique and very relaxing. It is very hard to get someone for deep tissue massage as most of the therapist will end up doing Swedish. Amber has great experience which makes her so good. She listens to the client and helps them not only feel relaxed but also helps them to recover from health issues with her magical hands. I had severe headaches and anxiety issue before I visited her. But with each session I felt so relaxed, refreshed and healthier. Surprisingly my skin has started to glow too. I feel lighter, positive and happier. I visit her every week. Trust me once you visit her you will end up making Amber yours forever. She has great healing power with her positive energy and the knowledge that she has acquired over her career. In my first session just by massaging my hand she instantly told me that I have carpal tunnel issue. It was surprising because I knew I had that issue but I never mentioned that to her. This shows her expertise. I cannot describe her sessions in words. She is very professional and makes sure you get 110% out of her sessions. Lot of therapists in general will not give you full 60 mins of session or will complain about not having enough time to do full body or focused area as per client’s needs. But Amber is completely opposite, she will listening to your concerns and will help you feel much better with her massage skills. Very versatile and skillful therapist. Please do try her sessions. I promise you...
