City Park — Attraction in Papillion

Once again l participated in Papillion days. We purchase a booth space and let folks kick our bag and break our boards. We Had an awesome time and met many old and new friends. Some scary weather passed through, and we would of battened down the hatches but it was very near the end and we opted to close early. Some nice volunteer stopped by to forewarn us about the impending poor weather. We observed it online and decided discretion was the better part of valor and bailed about 2.5 hours early. Celebrating Papillion Day with craft vendors, good food, music and spectacular fireworks. Many interesting tents from banks to armed services and church groups... Saturday there's a parade with the PAC band and a concert at Sumter amphitheater Sunday night at 8 pm Many festivities, face painting is very popular as are hena tattoos. The rids were full of adventurous people and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Plenty of picnic tables available. Plenty of places to sit and eat as well as watching the fireworks. Today I went to Papillion Days and it blast. The only bad part about going here though, was that their stuff like food and games are very overpriced. But that’s what i expected, its a carnival.
