Papio Bowl — Local services in Papillion

A year ago I gave Papio Bowl a 4 star rating. I am now dropping that by 1 star. First I'd like to say the service/staff are awesome, the place is clean and cozy, the french fries were incredible, and yes indeed, they're fountain drinks are really cold. My complaint is this. Both your Facebook page and your website clearly state your hours, and also say cosmic bowling starting at 9 pm. We got there yesterday (a Saturday) sometime between 5:30-6 pm. Cosmic bowling was going on. We were told there was a birthday party, which is fine, no problem with that. But I am an adult, I have been for a "few" years😉, and I really don't want to bowl in the dark. I have 2 suggestions. 1: make a note, in bold lettering, next to your hours, weekend hours especially, that there's a possibility of cosmic bowling going on earlier. And 2: perhaps you could do the cosmic bowling on one half of the lanes and light up the other, everyone that was there wasn't...

Went there for my first visit today. I work with physically and mentally disabled individuals and our company allows us to take them out. Several other bowling alleys have made it clear they don't enjoy catering to our people. Papio Bowl was wonderful. Trent was working and he greeted us, opened the door making it easier for us to focus on our individuals and their needs. He was very complimentary and treated our people with respect. He worked tirelessly to make sure all needs for a fun bowling experience were met. It could not have been a more enjoyable experience for both our clients and us staff. Thank you Trent!! He also helped us out the door, as we were loading up, the maintenance man (I believe his name was Jo??) came out to make sure we had a wonderful experience as well. We were blown away by the hospitality and will definitely be frequenting Papio Bowl in the future as I would encourage others...

Cute place for kids all kids were there with their parents when me and my boyfriend went there. Great bowling balls. Has 16 lanes though so maybe on a busy Friday night or something like that maybe you should call ahead. Played very kidish music such as “I like to move it” from Madagascar. Not hating or anything. Great place for kids. But the system like the pins and the screens were kinda janky and kept messing up. I had gotten a gutter then it took my second turn away from me. After that it gave my boyfriend my pins and the screen showed that it was his turn so he went and hit 8 pins. Then after that they gave him a whole nother set of pins and he hit a couple that were on the complete other side of the 2 he had to hit from before. It gave him a spare. I mean at least it didn’t give him 15 points or anything like...
