The Book Nook Bookstores Papillion — Local services in Papillion

I went to Walmart, Target, and Super Target as I was on the hunt for The Lost Boys movie and none of the stores had it in stock. I knew if I looked for a small book store I would most likely find it. I stumbled up Books and Nooks and couldn’t find it in store but luckily a wonderful worker was able to assist me and told me another store had it in stock 😭. I didn’t want to make the drive and she offered to have it shipped rather to her store or directly to my house which I chose my house. Not only was the original copy I wanted but it came in 2 business days 🥺. This movie is a child hood favorite and I’m so excited I own my copy now. This book store has so many classics and wondering options in store and in their warehouse, if you haven’t stopped in yet please do so! It makes a cute date spot and of course doubles as a place to find new or old reads! Thank you again to the wonderful worker at this papillon...

The prices seem expensive for used books. Also, the company claims that books purchased online for pickup will be ready within 24 hours. I placed an online order for pickup and when I went in to get the book I ordered, I was told by an employee that I would have to wait until the book was pulled and the store would then call me to pick it up. This is after the employee had to look three times to find my order. I left the store and came back an hour later and pulled the book myself by going into the front room. The place didn't appear that busy so I don't understand why it couldn't have been pulled earlier. I can get a better deal on used books at Half Price Books and I can get better service at Barnes and Noble or...

The place was cute and had a nice selection! However, for being mainly a used book store, the prices run high/similar to the original pricing. I could have bought my books new for the same price.

The books were gently used and i didn't seem to find many that were in bad condition. They had a small selection of stickers, movies, shows, games, and CDs. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a very cozy and welcoming environment.

The only other thing I can complain about is their stickers 😭 please stop putting them on the books (especially since they are not put on every title as is). They were terrible to get off and leave sticky glue residue on the covers.
