I’m not sure if they had an off night but we were excited to try this place and support local but we were let down the second we walked in the door by the less than helpful hostess who didn’t even make eye contact with us for 10 minutes, and eventually pointed to a table and asked if it would work. Then we had to assume we sat ourselves and made our way to table. The service at the table was mediocre we waited forever for our order and everyone’s plate came out 5-30 minutes apart so we didnt get eat together. The staff there that walked by all seemed very unpleasant and unhappy no one has any experience serving customers clearly. The bartender seemed to be ok but still lacked in the department. The food was ok way overpriced IMO. The best part was their ice which was served in clear solo cups which was odd bc of their fancy black linen napkins that were awful to use. If we return it will likely be to try takeout. We did order the shakes which also came in the plastic cup and it wasn’t anything special they just make it look cute I guess. Maybe everything was a let down and I had higher expectations. The most friendly service we received was when we left and everyone said thanks for coming in. My advice to the owner is to check your staff a lot of the females seemed very unprofessional and unhappy while walking back and forth there was one staff member eating salad at the bar and then two brushing their hair near the bar. I worked in the food service industry for 10 years and this place won’t make it unless the owner is present and making sure this type of service...
Read moreFrom the moment you walk into Grace Pizza & Shakes in Papillion, you know you’re about to experience something special. This isn’t your average pizza joint—it’s a full-blown vibe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a clean, modern twist that makes it perfect for everything from a casual night out to a special treat.
But let’s talk food. The pizza? Insane. Perfectly crisped coal-fired crust with just the right chew, and toppings that are fresh and full of flavor. You can tell every ingredient is chosen with intention. I’ve tried a few different combos now and haven’t had a single miss.
And don’t sleep on the shakes. These things are wild—in the best way. Over-the-top in appearance, but balanced in taste. Not just for the photo (even though they are definitely Instagram-worthy). Rich, creative, and totally worth the indulgence.
Now the real MVP? Chef Evan Cleveland. You can tell this man cares deeply about his craft. The menu shows real creativity and pride, and the execution is flawless. From flavor profiles to presentation, he’s on another level. Shoutout to Chef Evan for elevating Papillion’s food scene. We see you!
Service is always on point too—friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You’re not just a number when you come in here, and that makes a difference.
Grace Pizza & Shakes is hands-down one of my favorite spots in the area. If you haven’t been yet, make the trip. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning...
Read moreI will start with the positive, our server (might have also been the bartender) did a good job. He was polite and attentive. Our order was correct, and our cups were never empty.
Now to the bad, off the bat, we noticed our table was broken. We made it work. However, I'm surprised a plate or drink didn't slide down. I'm sure the employees are aware of the broken table, it sticks out like a sore thumb. It's odd they're seating people at that table.
Then we got our appetizer. More than half the knots were doughy, raw and room temp in the center. My son picked out the good ones and ate those. The sauces were good.
My daughter disliked her alfredo fettuccine, however her shrimp were cooked and seasoned well. My Mike and Jen (?) sauce was bitter, chicken was tough and dry, and the actual bowtie pasta was wildly overcooked and fell apart easily because of how soggy they were. My boyfriend said his food was alright. I forgot what he had exactly. My son didn't complain about his Spicy Hawaiian, but he only had one slice.
None of us got close to ¼ through our meal. We packed it up, but ended up tossing the food in the garbage. We really wanted to like this place. We might still go back to try the shakes...
