We have travelled extensively throughout the World. We have never encountered a hotel that was as horrible as the Peaks. We had a prepaid reservation at the Peaks for arrival on 07/03/2025, which was the day before the July 4th holiday weekend. My wife, who is hemiplegic, and I arrived at the Peaks at 5:30 PM on 07/03/2025. There was a sign on the entrance door stating that the Peaks was closed. I looked through the glass entrance doors and saw a lobby that was demolished and under construction. It was obvious that the construction had begun well before we made our reservation. There were two contact phone numbers on the closed notice on the door. I called the first number and was told that I had to call the other number. I called the second number and was told that they would do nothing to help us find alternative lodgings. As far as Peaks was concerned, my hemiplegic wife and could sleep on the street. Luckily, we found an alternate hotel. Later I left messages for the Peaks manager to call me and for the Peaks' reservation service to call me. Idid not receive the courtesy of a call back from either. Would you really want to support such a horrific hotel as is the Peaks? It is my individual, personal, subjective opinion, belief, and interpretation that I was ripped off by this company.  Therefore, it is my individual, personal, subjective opinion, belief, and interpretation that the company is incompetent, dishonest, and/or unethical.  The foregoing review solely provides my individual, personal, subjective opinions, beliefs, and interpretations. Any individuals who may view this review, or any part thereof, should examine the facts and issues for themselves and form their own individual, subjective, personal opinions, beliefs, and interpretations.

After seeing my review, the General Manager of the hotel published a mealy mouthed reply apologizing for the problem we encountered. The General Manager stated in his reply to my review: "A member of our leadership team will be in contact with you." Why am I not surprised that I have not been contacted by anyone from the hotel and that my phone messages have not been returned by the hotel. It looks to me like the hotel's response to my review was a rather dishonest attempt to control the damage my review may have caused the hotel. Again, it is my individual, personal, subjective opinion, belief, and interpretation that I was ripped off by this company.  Therefore, it is my individual, personal, subjective opinion, belief, and interpretation that the company is incompetent, dishonest, and/or unethical.  The foregoing review solely provides my individual, personal, subjective opinions, beliefs, and interpretations. Erica at the Peaks Hotel Park City went way above and beyond in service for our 36th Anniversary. My wife and I have learned that we picked a terrible month to marry, the end of April not only has winter activities closed, but summer activities also haven’t started and to top it off the weather is always poor. Erica made our stay a lifetime memory, putting us in an excellent room and thoughtful service throughout our stay. Just a shout out to the management…Erica is a keeper.

We were met at registration by Emily and Art. Amazingly friendly and welcoming. You get this kind of welcome by being this kind of person. Emily has a sunny I can help disposition and Art was just as mannered. He even brought us Chocolate Covered Strawberries and a cheese plate to our suite for our anniversary visit. Every time we have gone to guest relations we have been met with the same stellar attention. I would suggest this hotel simply on how well we were treated by these two people.

Sean Rayner is the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Hotel. His Movie Star's good looks and genuine interest in his staff and customers won us over especially my wife. He sought us out during breakfast after our first night asking how our stay was going. We complimented him on the staff and the room. We spoke for an easy 10 minutes, interrupted every couple of minutes by him making certain that other guests were happy too. Getting to know him was as easy as a new friend on my home block. In our conversation, we had made a small almost insignificant remark about our bedding only to come back and find it remedied and a kind gift of compensation that was certainly not sought or expected. This is evidently a great hotel.

Stephanie Samuels, I am taking time out of my day, an anniversary of marriage to tell you how well we appreciated our stay at the Peaks Hotel in Park City. Erica started it all off by setting up our visit, Emily and Art put it in action when we registered and Sean followed it up and made certain our stay was impeccable and memorable. Every one of them was delightful, friendly, and service-oriented. I can’t leave out the wait staff either, Teresa managing the restaurant, Dan our server, and Leslie at breakfast (thanks for the extra bacon). Modesta, thank you for the clean Suite. Stephanie, these people make you look great, great as a Manager. Thank you for the...

Not a bad Park City hotel, but there was the good and the bad. The fitness room was awesome with a Peloton bike, lateral elliptical, regular elliptical and pendulum elliptical machines, three treadmills with workouts and tv’s, a recumbent bike, a full selection of free weights and kettlebells, Abs machine, mini trampoline, resistance trainers, mats, medicine balls, core stabilization objects, mats and more. I am a fitness enthusiast so appreciated the bathroom with a weight scale! The king room I was in was very roomy and featured a mid century modern decor with comfort chair and bathrobes on hangers, but closet had only two other hangers and the memory foam mattress was very hot and pillow were way too long. The bathroom/wet bar areas were tight and shower extremely narrow but had rain shower head. There is a mini fridge but no microwave but you can use the lobby one if needed. There are relaxation areas on each floor outside rooms and a nice restaurant (highly rated), a business station with computer and printer. My only complaint is that the outdoor pool is located at the front of the property with only a fence to separate you from a very loud bush street. The loud and constant noise of the cars zooming by made for a not zen experience. The pool should have been located near the quiet courtyard in the back of the property. I want to mention the front desk people were very friendly except the morning girl in her 20’s- not nice and even downright rude when I called that there was NO WATER in emerita hotel after hot tubbing. I was trying to check out I needed to shower before going to work. I called this gal at the front desk and she did not apologize or give me any solutions just said that their water was working fine down there but it was not it was throughout the whole hotel. I had to leave without showering. It ruins our stay. Later I called about an item that I left behind and the same girl was super rude and Her response to my question if they had found my item was that “we only hold items for 30 days and we don’t have your item.”Her interaction and communication with guests is not good and not appropriate for a front desk person-It’s like she was hired straight from a collections...

Great experience overall! Pros - close to Deer Valley and Park City, with a free shuttle to those areas - great complimentary breakfast, with yogurt, eggs, fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins, Nutella, coffee, tea, etc. - hot chocolate with whipped cream and cookies provided every day from 4-6 pm - room had good shower pressure - has paid washer and dryer on site - hot tubs inside and outside - great gym with multiple Cybex treadmills, weights, stationary bikes, etc - indoor/outdoor pool - restaurant attached - cards and games in the common area - quiet policy from 10 pm to 6 am - non-smoking - free parking - friendly staff Cons - the shuttle is first come first serve and with traffic, it can fall off the schedule. There can be significant traffic on weekends - pool is very cold (but the hot tub makes up for this) - it can be hard to maneuver in the room with two queen beds and multiple suitcases. The larger rooms are very nice. Also worth noting that housekeeping won't clean the rooms unless you put a sign out, which wasn't mentioned when we checked in. Update March 2023 where we felt some of the experience was downgraded: - Staff continues to be very fast and helpful - While they still provide hot chocolate, they no longer offer the special toppings like whipped cream and peppermint that made it an extra special experience. Cookies also ran out early one night, which was disappointing. - The breakfast was downgraded; Greek yogurt was switched to diet yogurts, food was not very appetizing, and fruit like bananas often weren't very fresh during our stay.

Very convenient location. Easy transfer from the hotel to the village. The bus stops right in front if you missed the shuttle. Close to the stores. The hot tub was a great bonus after a day of snowboarding.
