I can't say enough about how much I love to patronize this ski and bike shop. My family comes to Park City in the Winter and Summer and we always reserve our skis and bikes with Todd and his friendly staff. They are very patient with my kids and their prices are right in line with all the big shops around town. Their location is key!!! The shop is right on the mountain and serviced by its own lift. But what really makes me love this store and come back to them (because I have used some of the other big shops) is the customer service. They really do treat you like they care about your vacation ski/bike experience. Todd, the owner, is always there cutting up with all the customers and cracking jokes. Their sweet shop pups always greet you at the door and sometimes you are treated to a quick visit with the other owner, Todd's wife Kate, who will really give you her Alabama southern drawl and charm. The experience I had at Silver Star ski & sport was nothing short of Top Notch! I was looking for a good Mountain bike ride and was only in town for the day so I didn't have time to mess around. Todd got me a high quality brand new rental bike with full suspension and hydraulic disc brakes. I was on the trails before I knew it for one of the best rides of my life! I was also given personalized trail advice and directions. The spirits were high and in general the store had a great atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable, and Todd even agreed to stay after normal operating hours so I could get a longer ride in! We have been to many ski rental shops over the last 15 years in Europe and N. America but nothing comes close to our experience with Todd and his Team. We arrived on Christmas Day after a long trip and the first thing they asked was whether we wanted to toast the holiday. They made us feel like family from that moment on and Todd called our group of 7 by their first names for the rest of the trip. The brand new equipment, expertise/professionalism/friendliness of the whole crew and Azalea the bulldog made us actually look forward to our twice a day visits. They are not the cheapest in town, but I guarantee you will not regret going to them. If you can access the mountain from Silver Star Lift it is an absolute no brainer as you can leave your skis in the shop next to the lift.
