We held our wedding at Villa Parker & our overall experience was very positive. We booked very far in advance of our actual wedding day & throughout the process of planning & payment they were very responsive to our communication inquires. We never ended up looking at other facilities because we fell in love with Villa so we cannot offer comparisons on pricing to other facilities. We can say that we felt the costs were overall reasonable. We had good communication with Villa & always felt they were responsive to us. They offer monthly ‘tastings’ which allowed us to meet & try out some of the vendors they recommended. The background is very beautiful being set in the little town of Parker; bar service, tables, chairs, day-of logistics are all included in the facility charges. Most of the staff we worked with was very pleasant & supportive. We initially worked with Karen & she was very easy-going & respectful of our needs. Our day-of coordinator was Erika & she was awesome to work with. She thought of things we never would have, & actually put the entire facility together the day of the ceremony. We always felt very comfortable with her suggestions & direction.

Concerns included: during the initial evaluation of the facility we were told that we would have full access to the venue for the entire day. While this was true, there was a rehearsal that morning of our wedding. While it didn’t necessarily impact us, it was awkward to have other people we don’t know wandering the facility while we were preparing. They were also giving tours and we understand it’s a business and you have to support new clients, as we paid for the facility for an entire day it just felt some of our privacy was infringed on. Again, not something that impacted the experience of our ceremony or happiness with Villa but just a general comment. Additionally, we mentioned in multiple meetings & emails how important the ceremony music was to us. That, if all else failed, we wanted the music to be right (processional, ceremony). We even put together our own playlists & instructions so the staff at Villa would get it correct. We were assured the music would be handled correctly but, it was not. Our processional for both the wedding party & the bride was wrong as was the start of our unity sand song. We know that every little aspect of the wedding will not go to plan; and we accepted that. Of course our guests didn’t know the difference; but for us we had emphasized countless times the importance of the music. The fact it was done incorrectly was disappointing. Ultimately though, we let it be & tried not to harp on it. Suggestions for Villa would be to improve the outdoor speaker capacity in the courtyard & to review ways to keep the dining hall room cooler, it got very hot.

The pros & positive overall experience of course outweighed the concerns we had. It’s a beautiful facility, secluded from everything, & we had numerous guests comment on how wonderful the facility & set up were. The general timeline & organization of the day was also great & was able to help keep our stress level down. Villa did a great job working with our individual vendors & coordinating everything in a manner that assured everything was on time & in place as it needed to be. We would highly recommend Villa to those looking for a quaint, cozy, & beautiful facility that handles all aspects of your wedding in one site. We had a beautiful wedding & we thank Villa & Erika for the hard work...

We found Villa Parker at the suggestion of our photographer, Tony Clapp. Villa Parker is absolutely breathtaking, especially during the summer. There are so many beautiful photography opportunities--the grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of flowers and options for indoor/outdoor lighting packages to add extra flair. We are thankful we spent the extra money on the lighting package we chose!

Our main interactions with Villa staff were with Kelsey, until we were assigned our day-of coordinator, Jen, who works in partnership with the venue. The price of the day-of coordinator is built into the venue fee, which was a huge plus of choosing Villa Parker. Kelsey was wonderful to work with. She is professional, kind, accommodating, and always answered our questions with exceptional detail. Jen was fun, collaborative, had fresh ideas and great advice, and made the venue look just as we dreamt it would be. During the event, she watched over every detail and made sure everything was taken care of. It even rained during dinner, and she & her assistant, along with our caterers, were able to pivot immediately to their Plan B floorplan. It was so nice that we did not have to worry about the details of the decor and events of the day!

On the business side of things, Villa Parker worked well with each of our vendors, even though some of them had never worked at the venue before. The bartender that Villa Parker provided was also fantastic and kept our guests happy!

Villa also has available several decor closets full of easels, signs, candles, candle holders, and other items which we were able to utilize and save a bit of money on decorations. They even let us borrow an easel to take to our ceremony site for our welcome sign. For the decor that we provided, we were able to deliver our items the day before the wedding, which added flexibility for us the day of the wedding.

Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Kelsey did a very good job with keeping us updated. When we contacted her with questions and concerns about whether we would be able to move forward, she was always compassionate and as flexible as she could be under the circumstances. There came a point where we weren't sure whether we would be able to have our ceremony at a church, and she kept the option of hosting the ceremony at Villa Parker open throughout the planning process. While we were able to keep our ceremony offsite, it was nice to know that we could still have the wedding we dreamed of. The only roadblock we encountered was when we were informed several days before the wedding of an unexpected policy change because of COVID. This certainly created a great deal of stress, but in the end, Jen was accommodating and helped the event run as smoothly as possible during the pandemic.

Overall, we had a great experience with having our wedding reception at Villa Parker, and we would highly...

This place is beautiful I loved the venue for sure, our wedding pictures turn out amazing. My guest thought it was beautiful for that I would give it a 5 star. PLEASE!!! IF YOUR LOOKING TO BOOK THIS PLACE FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT READ MY REVIEW, AND I WILL LET ALL MY GUEST THAT THOUGHT ABOUT BOOKING THIS PLACE FOR THEIR COMING EVENTS KNOW AS WELL.... I'm giving it a ONE to ZERO star for HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION, FOR CAUSING UNNEEDED STRESS, After a month or more later of the wedding, Villa Parker (Lynn Kieffer) is telling me we didn't pay the Deposit for the place and that there was a glass broken that I have no clue if it was my guest or one of their employees that broke it OR THE SERVERS. I do not Understand why when I gave my Credit card to be ran for the first amount to be paid including ( in my mind) the DEPOSIT they didn't get the deposit too, when I specifically said RUN IT FOR THE WHOLE AMOUNT. I'n my mind AND THE WHOLE TIME WHEN PLANNING THE WEDDING I'm thinking that is paid and its forgotten. Or why would't they remind us that, we still owe that amount before the event even happened. I have no words of how ANGRY I'm about this. I knew that there was gonna be charges after the wedding but our Wedding Coordinator repeatedly said DON'T WORRY! THIS WILL ALL COME OUT OF YOUR DEPOSIT (AGAIN THINKING IT WAS OBVIOUSLY PAID FROM THE START) she even said you might just owe no more than 200 dollars I said well that is not so bad, only cause we added some lines and the sparkling exit and that conversation took place when we meet with our coordinator and our food Caterer for the final touch ups, one week before the event. Their reasoning behind this was (WE DIDN'T WANT TO STRESS YOU ABOUT THAT AMOUNT) really??????? well your not doing any favors now. IT IS NOT MY FAULT YOU DID NOT GET THIS AMOUNT WHEN YOU HAD MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING TO REMIND US. It is so unfair and not our fault that your company does not know and have Communication...

Update: Since posting this review, Dawn has reached out to me and we have cleared out the misunderstandings that unfortunately happened below. I have raised my 1 star rating to a 3. Although I heavily empathize with the unforseen event that occurred, I would have appreciated the transparency; especially because I had reached out multiple times in a span of 2 weeks. My fiancé and I are moving past this and wish nothing but the best for Villa Parker and their staff going forward. ---- My partner and I are from out-of-state and were really excited about seeing Villa in person. We toured this venue on May 25, 2024 with the sales manager, Dawn. It was a great tour with lots of information and it got us really excited about potentially hosting our 2025 wedding here. We were given a week to decide whether we would want to move forward and sign a contract. Dawn let us know to reach out anytime with questions, preferably through text. After a few days of looking over their brochures, I texted Dawn with some questions and she responded that she could get a proposal done. I said sure. After TWO whole weeks, I still have not gotten a response. I have texted Dawn twice more after our initial texts, and I emailed Villa Parker directly on June 1st (refer to the pictures). Yet, there has been no response. I understand that right now is peak wedding season and life happens to the best of us, but a simple text/email explaining the delay would have been more than enough. I feel like my time and energy was simply wasted on a venue that FAR outshines their staff. My fiancé and I are definitely choosing another venue as this whole experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

I got my photos in so I just have to share!! First and foremost, if you are considering Villa Parker as your wedding/event venue, I would tell you to go for it. Easy to work with, very communicative and clear, and just lovely people. They also work with Grace & Co to provide a day-of coordinator as part of the venue and our coordinator Sophie was INVALUABLE. Seriously, once the day was rolling I didn't have a single thing to worry about, she was already taking care of it. Highlights- the venue is already so beautiful we barely decorated at all. The dressing spaces, bridal suite and grooms rooms, were spacious and comfortable. I already mentioned that they're very communicative but I'll say it again because that's always so important. Drawbacks- the only one I can think of is they don't only work with 5 specific caterers so if you're heartset on a particular catering company that might be a sticking point for you BUT the caterers they have are all extremely familiar with the venue and do so much that I wasn't even mad. We went through Serendipity and the catering captain Dan was lovely. It was such a beautiful day and I am so so grateful to Villa Parker for really bringing it all togetherness and making it perfect.
