Let me start off with I do not normally tan here, while signing in I had the not so pleasant experience of meeting the older lady Mercy who was working the front desk. I first asked her what kind of beds she had and she completely ignored the question, the young lady behind me answered. I then asked her did she know how long the wait would be for a booth and as I was explaining why I was asking she rudely cut me off and told me in a very snappy manner I don’t know . Alright that’s understandable. She then comes back from cleaning something and is coughing and complaining loudly to where all the waiting customers could hear her. A very nice lady beside me then asked if she would like a cough drop, and I realized she didn’t hear her as it is very loud in there, so I repeated to Mercy that, that young lady was offering her a cough drop. As to she replied “well I’m busy she’ll have to wait”, and I just laughed and held my tongue. If I was the one offering her a cough drop and that was her response she could dry cough till she couldn’t no more. I’d say 7 minutes go buy and She then told everyone waiting “well if you’re waiting for a booth 13 bulbs are out and you’ll have to rotate like a rotisserie”. I then proceeded to explain I had my husband waiting and I just needed a estimated time, and she then rudely told me and threw her hands up “I don’t know what to tell you, I already told you I don’t know what else is there to say” looked at her and said “excuse me”? And she laughed I then just walked away and told her , her attitude really freaking sucked. I then left and got into the car and called and asked to speak to a manager and she answer and said “ No Savannah, there is no manager.” I asked her when will they be back and she responded “tomorrow”. This lady has to be the rudest darn person I have ever ran into in customer service!! This is no way to act in front of customers regardless of what is going on !!! She does not need to be at the front desk...
Read moreThere are two very simple, but very important (to me) reasons why I'm so happy here at Planet Fitness. The cleanliness of this gym and how considerate the patrons are at maintaining this environment. As corny as it sounds... the slogan speaks for itself! This is a judgment-free zone! I've seen members with oxygen tanks and beautifully empowering, young kids trying to kick start heathy living, middle-aged couples trying to make a difference in their lives together. Of course there are you experienced patrons and an incredible staff, but the best part is thst I've never seen a crooked look, I've never seen anyone cold shouldered and I've NEVER witnessed anybody that isn't encouraging or willing to help. Some days it is very quiet, but some days there's so much supportive chatter and little groups of excited people trying to make a difference that it's impossible to not feel motivated and inspired. I love it here and regardless of what people tell you... it's not a "meat market"! This is a wonderful environment that I love being in and I'm proud to have just signed my 13 year old daughter up with her own membership....
Read moreI've been a member of this gym on and off for over 10 years. The customer service and management has fallen from the graces. A once vibrant and friendly place to attend is now dark and subdued. The staff is very cold and rigid. Favoritism is a big part of the experience theese days. The guidelines are only followed when that particular associate wants to feel empowered on a particular day. They make rules up when ever they want and when called out for it management would rather talk over you then listen to your concerns. It's really sad what the organization has become. Alot if the machines are broke which leads to people using machines in other areas that are specifically designed for 30 min. training. You can't work out with your own family or friends and mask have to be worn even when running on a treadmill. Again only if your not in a click or...
