This historic vaudeville theatre is a treasure and so is the woman who saved it from becoming a parking lot. It provides professional touring shows, performances from local performing arts schools, an exceptional children's choir,, a summer camp where children learn about history of vaudeville, local history, , music, dance and acting which culminates in a performance, and the Smoot has its own band that creates a wonderful top notch Christmas show each year with LIVE music that is second to none. Not a bad seat in the house, which can be cramped if you are tall or a large person.
