Unity Mac Bar — Restaurant in Parkersburg

This is a locally owned and operated coffee house/restaurant. The food is quite good. Have tried most of the savory crepes. Definitely can suggest the avocado sunrise crepe! They have fresh French Press coffee so good. My favorite is the Highland Grogg from where else? West Virginia!their fresh brewed from leaf Tea's are great. Can actually buy those to take home and steep your way. Haven't tried the Bulgarian coffee yet, I'm a bit of a wimp there :-) their scones are some of the best in the area. The staff is amazing, helpful, and will ask the pertinent questions to make sure you enjoy every single visit! The back room is just the place to spend the day cuddled up to a good book with a hot beverage, public restroom available, wheelchair accessible, had patio seating...

Was very unimpressed with this place. Today was our first time trying it and our crepes were made incorrectly. Upon calling to just let a manager know the guy who answered told us that the manager isn't in today and asked if he could help us .. So we let him know about them being made incorrectly he wanted to argue stating that they were made correctly because he made them himself. The ingredients that we asked for weren't in them, it was wrong ingredients completely but he wanted to argue about it .. Then proceeded to say he was the owner. Instead of making it better he made it way worse by arguing about it. I do not recommend this place and I am all for small business owners 100%. He was very rude and not willing to accept that the food was made...

Unity Cafe is one of the most laid back, serene, and relaxing cafes I've ever been to!

The owner is an amazing conversationalist, her food is to die for, and the drinks you have to sip slow to enjoy them as much as possible.

This last visit, me and my gf were just walking by, seeing they were about to close. Before we could keep heading on our way, she opened the door and told us she could still make us drinks. This was at 5 minutes to closing time! They were absolutely perfect and we got to finish our walk with perfect drinks.
