Very interesting! You really get a sense of how hard this industry was from the start. This kind of work was not for the faint of heart. You get a real feel for how we need to keep going as a state to keep finding more planet friendly ways to extract as well as the need for alternative energy methods. So that we can lighten the need and ensure our demand doesn't over ride those needs. Measures taken now can add length to the supply. We need to respect our state lands and wildlife. The website shows they’re opened 12-5 on Saturdays, we drove over two hours specifically for this museum. The hours on the window show 12-5 and the open sign was in the window was up but the door was locked and nobody answered a phone call.
