JT Nails & Spa — Attraction in Parkville

Came in open minded , knowing what I wanted and how I wanted it . Told Jenny I’ve seen her work and that’s what brought me in I complemented her art work and things were smooth. The salon was empty maybe only 3 workers and 3 customers including myself . I told and showed Jenny a picture of the nails I wanted . I am not picky but I do feel if it’s my hard earned money I would atleast like to have a say in my nails and be happy with them . I informed her the nails were not even nor consistent in shape she told me your fingers are all different one hand is smaller than another so she did my nails according to my finger and not what I asked …. I said okay and took her work for it.she put my tips on and then says she will be right back she has to do a design really quick … I was completely fine with that until I realized I’ve been waiting close to 30min . Mind you this is CIAA weekend so I have a couple events to attend so being that I came in at 330 (walk in) I knew it would take some time but not too long. I asked how much longer the women nails will be and they tell me In a min …… I am now becoming frustrated and impatient . 30min passed and now Jenny is coming over to me . I’m Explaining to her that while waiting I noticed a couple nails that werent consistent she appears a bit agitated with me now that I’m still bringing up my concerns of the nails consistency . She rushes me off and says I’m too picky and that she cannot do my nails . I’m complete disbelief I reassure her I love her work and she has been working with me thus far but because I’m pointing out a flaw I’m too picky ? I then explain to her that I do nails as well ( too lazy to do them myself) so I went and got them done as soon as I say that she puts a smug look across her face and ask oh really are you licensed? And begin to explain that she’s been doing nails for 20 years license and that I am making her uncomfortable. Mind you before she came over to start my nails again I called my friend to calm Me down I was not loud nor disrespectful. Jenny says that because I was on the phone I made her nervous and she doesn’t feel comfortable finishing my nails …. I left angry , half finished nails , and back and square one to find a salon but thanks to KV NAILS across from Popeyes , Howie was able to take me in and did a beautiful and great job on my nails . ILL NEVER...

I've not gotten a professional mani & pedi in nearly 20+ years. For my bday, I decided to pamper myself. Unfortunately, JT's did not completely measure up and the price of service didn't match the outcome of the quality. I picked a mid priced pedicure and the spa portion of that was fine. I chose a basic manicure. It was basic. Things fizzled at the end. I wanted a simple solid white. The lacquer is sloppy in its application, terribly uneven, has rough edges, part of some nails are uncovered, polish on the cuticle on some nails and off the cuticles on others and there's polish on my skin. Now, instead of chillaxing after what was suppose to be a nice experience, I'm going to have to spend time trying to fix this mess and hope that it dries before I go out so I don't mess them up even worse. SMH

Considering ALLLLL I wanted was a solid color, these should look much better since I paid $63 for the service. JT's nails has insured it'll be another 20+ years before I waste money on another "professional" nail service. I was going to schedule a bikini wax. But, i cant let these folk at my heavenly region. I'm more frustrated than pampered.

I will say that it looked like other techs seemed to care more about their clients. But, I've no reason to pay these people again. Once was a regret I don't wish to repeat.

If you have to , please let this place be your last resort. Only reason why I came to this location , is because all the nail salons where I live, are closed on Sunday’s. I called before coming, asking for a quote on FILL IN w/ GEL. She said $35.

I come and the only guy in this place does my nails, the service was going good till he burned me with the drill 3 times and never said sorry just went to the next nail…

Time for color…. I asked if they have OPI bubble bath.. he never answers me just went to go find some colors similar to the one I asked and none of them worked out . Finally he get the last color and he tells me he will do 3 coats to achieve “ bubble bath” color. I go for it and ummm it will work but I definitely will go back to my normal salon for a color change.

Time to pay…. She says $40 🤨🤨🤨 what happened to $35 .. oh you have long nails… I don’t have time to argue cause I know this will be my LAST time at this place. I give her my credit card , she gives me the receipt to sign and it says $41.50…. Now why was my card charged more than what you quoted me? If their is a fee for customers paying with credit card , you should SAY that before...
