They are really nice people good quality meat and grade A customers service and super helpful.The gentleman that helped me and my husband answered any questions we had never rushed us and he was super polite and patient and very informative amd the place is sparkling clean and organized wich makes the shopping experience very enjoyable really loved that will definitely going back they are my new favorite butcher.

We checked this place out yesterday. Gotta say we were very impressed. Their selection has a wide variety of different, unique meats. We bought some waygu steaks this time. They literally melted in our mouths 🤤. We definitely found our new meat market. So glad we finally have one in La Porte/Deer Park area! Next time we will try their boudin stuffed porkchops. Highly recommend checking them out!

We checked this place out yesterday. Gotta say we were very impressed. Their selection has a wide variety of different, unique meats. We bought some waygu steaks this time. They literally melted in our mouths 🤤. We definitely found our new meat market. So glad we finally have one in La Porte/Deer Park area! Next time we will try their boudin stuffed porkchops. This place is awesome. High quality meat and great prices. Nolan was very knowledgeable and friendly. I walked out of there with a beautiful piece of wagyu beef skirt steak, sausage and my favorite Meat Church seasoning. Will be back again for sure.

First off, I'm so glad to have a butcher close to home now. Second, I love the slight smoky smell that greets you when you walk in the door. The gentleman behind the counter (I regretfully didn't catch his name) was knowledgeable and friendly and greeted us right away. The meat looked great, the cowboy ribeyes we bought were thick and well marbled, and the prices were reasonable. We got the steaks, two pounds of Applewood smoked bacon, and brisket bullets and made it out for less than a hundred dollars. I'd also suggest trying the smoked mozzarella (we'll definitely be getting some when we go back!) All in all, definitely worth the side trip, and we look forward to doing business with them again in the future. Went Saturday for some sausage, sirloin steaks and patties. Sausage and steaks were good, but I’m leaving two stars because when I asked for four patties, which I’m now in opening this Monday evening. I saw that there’s only three. So I’d like to know if I can come in and get the Pattie that wasnt packaged or get my money back? I stay around the corner from y’all.

1836 Butchers truly understands what customer service is all about. From their bundle package sales to the $7 steak sales they go above and beyond to serve their customers. This morning while waiting in line for the $7 steak sale, they kept us informed of when they would starting as the start time for the sale was set to start an hour after they opened. However they were able to start about 40 minutes early and offered free beer, coke and water while waiting. Please give these guys a visit and be sent back to when customers were treated like the lifeline of a business. If I could give them more...
