PREVIOUS POST - Go here all the time and have always had good service and good food...
CURRENT POST - This is long but I hope someone from Corporate reads this. Okay went here today and it all went to hell. As u can see, I previously gave them a great review, but had to take it all back. Went in today, sat down and waited 45 minutes before they even called our food out to be dropped. No big deal, it was busy.
We sat right by the booth closest to the Meat Cook and couldnt help but pay attention as we watched him burn at least 30-40 pieces of bacon. No big deal, maybe he was having a bad day and people were eating their burnt bacon so oh well.
Then he opened the freezer next to him, and the pan of frozen cheese steaks fell out the freezer and on the floor right in front of us, yes the DIRTY waffle house floor. Atleast 3 or 4 cheesesteaks came out of the pan onto the floor. Without missing a beat, he picked ONE up threw it in the trash and put the rest back IN THE PAN and threw the pan back in the freezer. We immediately told our waitress what we saw...she did or said nothing! She did not tell the manager or anyone!
He immediately began cooking those SAME FLOOR CONTANIMATED CHEESESTEAKS a little while later when the lady at the bar next to us noticed her chicken sandwich was undercooked.. then here's the best part..OUR SAME WAITRESS....offered the lady a Cheesesteak instead!!!!
We quickly warned the lady and when she realized THATS what he dropped earlier, it was too late...he was already cooking them...she of course told our waitress to cancel it and told her why... and then our waitress comes to our table to DEFEND the contaminated meat by saying..it has a little piece of paper in between each Cheesesteak as if that MATTERED!
NOW she had to tell the MGR since cooked food was being cancelled...so NOW she escalated it all by calling the manager over who had previously tried to Comp our Meal for the almost hour long wait.
I told the Manager ( who was very professional) to forget it all,I'll pay for my meal...I asked for my ticket and went to the front to pay and our waitress tried to explain AGAIN , and I told her I didnt care anymore, I just wanted to pay my ticket and leave...she rung me up..I paid and asked for a copy of the receipt...she got mad, took the receipt off the cash register...stapled it, threw the stapler down hard and turned and walked away to the back without giving me a copy.. her peer saw it all and tried to assist but the manager came back to the front and apologized for the waitress actions and gave me the receipt.
Dont believe me????? PLEASE watch the video or ask the Manager, her name is Korry or at least thats what she told me. We will never eat here again...if he's cooking Cheesesteak off that filthy floor, and then lying about it to the managers face when she questioned him after we WATCHED him do it, then what else is going on with the food???
The only good thing about this location is the Manager..I never advocate for anyone to lose their job BUT!!!!.that waitress and that cook should be RETRAINED immediately..Im writing this considering calling the health...
Read moreAlways hyper critical of 3rd shifters as I was a 3rd shift cook in the late 90's...this staff did not disappoint! Greeted immediately upon entering the establishment, order promptly taken, drink served, and audibly called in correctly to the grill from call points, cook properly pulled meats and marked plate denoting the specifics of my order, waitress pre-served necessary silverware and condiments for my meal, cook prepared every item as specified in an efficient and timely manner, food delivered with a smile within 6 minutes of being called out. Waitress (Lae, I think?) checked in on quality of my food and topped off coffee when needed as if she had ESP. pre-bussed plates as I finished each dish and left ticket with the "no rush, whenever you're ready" caveat and a genuine kindness that's not often encountered anymore. I finished up my meal as the wait staff and grill were both efficiently tackling their side work duties and observed everything to be as "by the book" as I remember being trained to do it. Doesn't happen like this very often in the post covid world of Waffle House visits, so I felt compelled to leave this review and kudos to the staff working in the wee hours of November 29th 2024. Made an old school 3rd shifter feel right at home. Give these folks some accolades and acknowledgement, or some kind of bonus...rare I get to enjoy my Waffle House experience with this level of satisfaction. This will be my new choice location to frequent when I'm getting the WH...

My wife and I are vegetarian, and when we explained that we don't eat meat, and that we would rather order separate items (such as a two egg plate and waffle, rather than the all-star). She not only copped an attitude with my wife, who suffers from anxiety, but once I asked for the two egg plate and the hash brown bowl with the exclusion of sausage, she became rude stating that she wasn't able to do it even though it was clear we were ordering two different items, and she kept insisting on giving us meat even after repeating to her multiple times that we do not eat meat.
Every single time we come to this location, we get poor food and poor service. If you're in the Pasadena area, go to the Waffle House on Fairmont. Though it is usually packed, it is definitely worth the 5-20 minute wait.
The only regret I have is not just telling her to just bring the check for the coffee and the water, because it only got worse. She had some other person bring us our food, then once she realized she lost her tip, she would meekly come by, and on one of these trips, she practically threw the check at us.
I would personally give this location ZERO...
