We purchased cabinets from them for a custom house project and have had the worse experience to date. It started when we placed a custom order for cabinets and sat down at their designated area. We went over all cabinets and placed the order and they wanted half down which was not a problem. We asked them what will happen if the custom cabinets are damaged upon arrival and they said don't worry they have a manufacturer in the Houston area and it will only take several days to get a new cabinet fabricated. We said ok as we were on a deadline to turn in the custom house. Sure enough several of the cabinets came damaged and we returned them to the store and the company said it will take several weeks to get the cabinets fabricated. We had to wait 4 weeks for the cabinets to come back and when they came back (1) of the cabinets was the wrong size and also was damaged. They said well if you want another cabinet it will take another 4 weeks and you have to pay for it. We said no way we will pay for a damaged cabinet and the customer service is so bad that it puts the post office to shame. Several weeks past by and they said they don't know where my cabinet is. They said the shipper/manufacturer doesn't provide them with tracking information which is a lie. I took it upon myself to contact the manufacturer and they gave me the delivery carrier who then I contacted and was able to find out where the cabinet was. Home Outlet knowing I needed my cabinet in a rush shipped it via Railroad Frieght with 36 other units and didn't put a rush/overnight because they don't care about their customers. So now it has been 6 weeks since 2nd reorder and 12 weeks since my original order and the customer can't move in or close with the bank b/c Home Outlet wanted to save money shipping my unit. Pretty good place to get your materials at. Comparing prices at other locations you will get more bang for your buck. Of course the cabinets are prefabricated but you get what you pay for. There are some decent tile or flooring selections but if you want more or variety, you just might as well go somewhere else. But the tile is good there for good price. Every time we go there to look at cabinets, they create a great Showcase. Again, it’s not a huge place but they have beautiful designs! If there is something you like and they don’t have it, take the catalog. You can order online or order it later. Which is what we are considering. They are able to look at Home plans. I LOVE this place! The costs of materials here is a fraction of the big box stores and the quality is GREAT. I bought most of my materials for my own renovation here, and am now getting materials for a flip that I'm working on. I especially love the flooring, here. I put in a commercial grade vinyl plank in my kitchen that butts up to original hardwood, and you can hardly tell the difference! It's beautiful and durable.

The staff here is knowledgeable and always helpful. They carry everything except for electrical and it's well worth the road trip from where I live to save a small fortune. Great selection of tile, too. I dunno what the 1 star review is about because this...
