In response to the business owner: Yes, I was surprised to see a male employee in an ISLAMIC womenâs fashion store. I never received a call about my items, not two days after or even two weeks after. I had to call and stop in to inquire about my items. The tailoring on MY items was not professional. I did not include pictures but I certainly can. Just because you donât agree with my review, does not make it âinaccurateâ as you claim. This was my experience. No one is trying to defame your business. Thatâs what google reviews are for. I hope that going forward you will learn to accept that your customers are allowed to voice their opinions when theyâre not satisfied with a service.
They have a nice collection of abayas but theyâre unorganized and cluttered. The few times Iâve been there, there was a man in the front which makes it kind of uncomfortable to shop. If you get something tailored, it will not be ready on time. You might be waiting a month or two. This has been my experience as well as friends and Iâve even overheard customers coming in for their items and they were not ready. Oh and they lie about having called you and left you a message but they never call you. Your items are thrown into a bag and tossed amongst many other bags so there is a chance your things will be lost and they have to go digging through bags to find it. Tailoring is rushed and VERY unprofessional. If you purchase anything here please get it tailored somewhere else. I canât even wear my stuff and now have to take it somewhere else to get fixed and spend even more money. Sometimes they change price tags on things so be careful. If they were more honest, I would shop there again but the whole experience just...
Read moreIâm never going back here ever again. The woman who owns this store or whatever is the rudest person Iâve ever met. I donât care if you know who I am. I am the girl from Connecticut that came to you on July 10th on eid. My mom came twice before and you promised you would sew my cape for my wedding dress. We counted on you and you said for us to come after you go on vacation and come back. You told my mom to come after the 16th of June with me and that you would take my measurements. Even though it was like early June when we came. So we came the 18th and you werenât there. I then came on July 10th on eid and you treated me in disrespect and acted like you didnât know what I was talking about and basically told me you didnât have time for me. You were so disrespectful and I treated you with full respect just because youâre clearly an old woman. However I will never go back here again and I hope you lose business because you do not deserve to be a business owner. You did not tell my mom to bring fabric or anything you said to just come and gave us a date. I spoke to you on the phone before that and you were so rude also. I will forever unrecommend this place. Please do not ever go here. The guy also didnât let my fiancĂŠ go in the back with me and yet there was a guy in the back. I also heard the guy telling you there is a girl waiting for you and you werenât...
Read moreBe cautious shopping here and always ask for prices upfront. I came in because the abaya I was wearing ripped and i needed a replacement. None of the abayas had visible price tags, so I tried on a few, assuming theyâd be reasonably priced. However at the counter, I was shocked to find that three abayas and a hijab totaled $355. One abaya was $145 because it was labeled a "two piece," which was a sleeveless dress with a basic cover up. I grabbed another off the rack for $95. I tried to cancel both after hearing the price, but the shopkeeper had already started hemming one, so I was stuck. Her attitude shifted from friendly to ice cold when I questioned the prices. I explained it wasnât about a few dollars, but I wasnât comfortable spending hundreds all at once, and she dismissed me. I ended up spending $210 for two abayas and a $20 hem, but she still wasnât satisfied. She refused to engage further, leaving me standing in awkward silence waiting for the abaya to be hemmed. I stepped outside to escape the tension. I left feeling taken advantage of and super...
