P.S: Jerusalem Jewelry is associated with the Igbara scam 100%
I had ordered a custom necklace from this place. The lady that had helped me take my order details did not go over any pricing details, rather she just took information down of what I wanted my necklace to look like. She then proceeded to tell me that the order would be ready in a week. Two weeks pass by and I didn't hear anything from them regarding my order. I went to the store to check up on my order and they said that they did not recognize my ticket number that they gave me the same day I placed my order. Soon after they realized it was their mistake and had apologized stating that they forgot about it and my order would be ready the following week and gave me a new ticket number for my order. This is my third trip visiting the store just for a necklace and once they showed me the final product I was extremely disappointed. Not only was the senior man (I think his name was AREF) extremely rude about us not liking the necklace (that I had to change my flight for since it was a gift) he suggested to leave the store if we are not satisfied and pay $120 for the crafters work. Obviously we had to add some extra details to make the necklace somewhat beautiful and had to come back after an hour and a half to purchase it. When it came down to paying he claimed that he will be charging us $80 per gram for 21k plus the 120 for the crafters work. $80? SERIOUSLY?!!! they think their customers lack knowledge when they purchase gold. The market charges $60 per gram (its different each day) and some usually charge $57 for 22k (if you go down to Jersey city Jewelers). Not only was the product a thin sheet of gold that is easily breakable, lacks detail from them, and wasn't cut properly, the man made ZEROOO sense in explaining why he is overcharging me, why his employees failed to mention the details of the pricing before the purchase, and why they forgot about my order and took them 3 weeks to complete. WHAT A SCAM...PERIOD The gentleman soon realized that he doesn't make sense and charged me $75/gram for 21k +$120. We were frequent customers at their shop but after this whole scenario, I vouched that I will never be coming back. My sister and her fiance had purchased a ring from there and after 2 days a piece of it fell off. Not only did they refuse to return.the product and return the money back but they were very NASTY about it. VERY RUDE...

I called them and they were very accommodating, but that’s not the point. The point is the quality and craftsmanship of the gold. I live in Brooklyn and to go all the way there to fix or replace it will cost me $50 in tolls plus gas. I’d understand if we had it for a while, but it literally broke the day we gave it to her. Please check every piece carefully, tug at it to see how sturdy it is. I don’t think I’d shop here again because of the huge inconvenience 3 days before I travel for the summer. I’d rather buy from back home: cheaper and better quality.
UPDATE: After I posted my 100% honest and true review, I got 3 phone calls from the store about the review. I told him I told the truth and I was on my way to the store anyway to sort out the necklace. THEY WANTED ME TO DELETE IT!!
When I got to the store, the same guy was going on and one about how these things happen, about bad reviews posted by his competitors, convincing me to try another piece, etc. He asked me what do I want, I said to return it and get a full refund. He kept going on and on and on wanting me to get another piece. I told him I was livid for having to drive all the way AGAIN from Brooklyn when I was traveling in 2 days and how I paid $50 each time I came. I asked him to return the money and reimburse my tolls. Finally, after trying to be bamboozled again, he gave us back our money with no extra. Then he asked me to remove the post and I said ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! People need to be aware!! POINT BLANK PERIOD!!
Please do your research. Just because a store is packed, doesn’t mean the stuff is...
Read moreUnfortunately, this happens to be closest jewelry store that is Muslim owned. I've been here a couple times and now I will try my very best to find alternate options before ever going back. Bc of my recent experience I would rather go to a mall or another business that will treat customers like people- that is with care, kindness and respect. It's so sad that I have to mention this, but if you are non Arab do not expect to be treated like Arabs in there. I Went in there with my Arab brother in law and it was an acceptable experience. We were tended to right away, everyone bent over backwards to help us, show us their options , answer questions and provide pricing. Went in there with a Non Arab and it was a ridiculous shame. The male that initially "helped" me acted as if he didn't want to be bothered. He seemed annoyed by being asked to show me the jewelry pieces and to provide pricing. That's your job. If it fatigues you or you seem uninterested in helping customers then I suggest you have a seat in a corner where people wont have to ask you questions or bother you. When I finally picked up my jewelry the girl handed it over to me like it was a burrito. Think wisely before you choose this store. Work on your customer service Jerusalem jewelry. Train your employees on how to actually help a customer in a dignified manner. And learn how to tend to ALL customers and provide ALL ethnic backgrounds including Non- Arabs with kindness, care, and...
