Hobby Haven — Attraction in Pawtucket

This store is pretty good. There are things that I like about it, and things I don't like about it. My good experiences are tempered by the bad experiences. Some things about the store are wonderful, and some things are terrible. The store smells really good at times, and at other times it smells really bad. Sometimes I go in and think that the prices are very reasonable, and at other times I go in and think they're insanely high. You might go in and wonder, "How should I feel about this store? Is it a good store, or a bad store?" Three observations 1. The store almost always smells like hotdogs (By the way, I love hotdogs) 2. The store always is well lit 3. This shop is my kids' favorite source for Gundam models. The shelves are well stocked and frequently replenished, and they have been able to find models that weren't available anywhere else. The prices are quite competitive as well - the affordability is one of the things that keeps us coming back! The owner is an incredibly nice guy. He puts the interests of the customers first, and he always speaks to my teenage kids with good humor and respect. In fact, he is a role model of sorts to my older one, with his encyclopedic knowledge of the products in the store. It's heartwarming to see a labor of love such as this store become a success. I haven’t been to the store in person, but have called and ordered items to be shipped. Customer service is the most important thing that a business can have and this shop definitely has it. The gentleman that I spoke with was friendly, helpful, informative, and generous. My items were promptly and professionally packaged and shipped arriving sooner than I had expected.
