The length of the pictured boardwalk "trail" has a lot to be desired, as well as a section that is roped off due to it being damaged (seems based on another review it's been that way for more than 4 months now).
Me and the dogs walked down the cart path which if you have a reactive or excitable dog would not be a good go to, most of the carts are driven by teens that don't care about safety, Classic PTC.

Read moreI have parked near Visitor center. Entrance to Flat Creek was closed by fence. You have to cross left from fence and follow the trail. Or there is entrance from BMX bike track for kids if there are no events. I passed that trail between trees, jumped over 2 fallen trees and finally found where the wooden bridges starts. Pass the golf carts trail and finished the trail. We had long dry time. It was why there are no water. I returned back...
Read moreThe area is nice to visit and has a large area for kids to place along with a bike and skateboard ramp area. I walked around and noticed a large amphitheatre their also. Amazed me since it can't be seen from the street but signs there showed local and national bands. Checked the website and saw acts such as Pat Benatar, Toto, Brian McKnight and others....
