Went here on a Saturday afternoon, restaurant was recently remodeled! Beautiful!! Comfy booths , beautiful decor. Our server Teresa was very pleasant, and friendly, she took great care of us. Started off the the salsa and chips. Salsa was sweeter thant what I was used to at Mexican restaurants, still delicious and chips were fresh. They have a huge menu!! So much to choose from. I decided to keep it simple and ordered 3 hard ground beef tacos and the Texas fajita quesadilla..(large cause I was hungry.. lol) decided not to get the roce and beans and just the salad, w guacamole, Pico, and sour cream. Hubbs got 3 soft ground beef tacos and a side of rice. Food came out pretty quickly. When I say this quesadilla was STUFFED .. IT WAS STUFFED!!! The tacos were good!! Shells were crunchy meat was seasoned. I like the lettuce they used. I feel like they cut it in-house. The quesadilla was delicious.. all the meat was tender and flavorful. I couldn't eat it all!!! Great for leftovers. Over all I enjoyed the service and food that we got!

I have lived in Peachtree city for many years, and there is a large selection of Mexican restaurants in this town. At least five or six that I know of. El Ranchero has always been a staple that we keep returning to over and over again. First and foremost quality and consistency of food. Not to mention that you get a lot of bang for your buck. The lunch menu is very affordable and you can tell that the food is freshly made. I like the fact that you can sit outside depending on the time of year, and they have a nice bar area which reminds me of pubs you find in Europe. Can’t go wrong with this place. Love the fact that you can still get a decent meal for a decent price, as were many other restaurants after Covid have hiked up their prices.

This is a nice hidden gem in Peachtree City. Me and my wife have eaten here two other times. Each visit has been wonderful. The place is well maintained. The staff is always warm and welcoming. It is situated in a plaza next to Kroger. As you know, quite a bit of Peachtree City is tucked behind trees. The last lunch we had here was great. For a party of two, the bill was around 40 dollars. It was more than enough. Even had leftovers. Our server was Teresa. She was very attentive and earned her tip. I am actually posting this review because of her wonderful service. She is a great asset to the place.

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISGUSTED.

My co workers and I went to this Mexican restaurant on our lunch break to have lunch as a group. The experience when we first sat down was overall decent nothing to rave about. We ordered our food everything was fine… until we got our food…. One of my coworkers ordered a taco salad. Pretty simple dish; meat, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and…. Beans. Well, one of the beans wasn’t like the rest…. One bean was quite large and had LEGS… YEP SHE HAD A ROACH IN HER TACO SALAD. She was very calm and polite about the situation. She called our waiter over and showed him the bug. He simply grabbed the plate from her and walked away into the kitchen. We didn’t see him again for a good 15 minutes. He never said anything to us again about the roach… not even an apology. To say the least we were all disgusted at this point. As we were finishing up another coworker noticed a black glob floating around in her drink… we fished the black blob out and put it on a napkin and what is it… MOLD. She had a large chunk of mold floating around in her sweet tea. I took the napkin with the mold on it to our waiter and another waitress that was with him and I said “We just found this in one of our drinks, it’s mold” he takes the napkin from me and looks at it and then says “oh it’s from the ice machine” I looked dead at him and told him they needed to clean their ice machine that’s disgusting. I walked away after that, applauded that he would try to justify there being mold in our drink. He again did not say anything else and neither did the lady with him. No apologies were ever given.

Moral of the story… DO...

This was my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, and Mexican is my favorite cuisine. Unfortunately, the service really sucks here the last 3 years, so I usually choose somewhere else when eating out. And I used to dine in and pickup about once/wk here. Didn't matter, either way service was bad. My complaints: rarely answers the phone, some of the wait staff is not outright rude but more so unpleasant & there's a certain woman you can tell doesn't want to be bothered with you. They have failed to get orders right, went there before Christmas holiday with a small group of coworkers (8). They weren't busy at all, I think 2 other tables occupied in the whole place, yet we didn't get water/drinks for nearly 15-20 minutes and another 20 for food, had to ask for straws, I didn't get a water which I specifically ordered for my drink, one of our alcoholic drinks was wrong, and one never came. We finally saw the waitress when our food came out so he told her just to cancel the drink. She clearly forgot, didn't say anything and disappeared. About 7 minutes later, she poked her head around the corner of the booth, putting on her charm, and held the drink up asking if he still wanted it. He took it, but then it wasn't frozen like he ordered, which he didn't complain about as it was getting close to closing and we were about to leave, and then he was charged for it! It looked like it had melted down. Otherwise, I like their menu choices, the food is good even if it's a little too salty. Not a bad place but if you're particular about service, I'd steer clear...

Really, really awful. The food was typical Mexican fair that was edible. Earned an absolute ZERO for service. We left Casa Vieja by Publix on 74 because they were too busy and the restaurant was too small to accommodate so we gave up and went here. The waitress had to be summoned multiple times. Never got her name in the almost empty restaurant but it was a woman with fake redish curly hair and a choker from the 90's. I had to ask her for refills for the others dining around us, she never checked on any of the food, never checked for a refill for ANYONE in our party of 6 in over 2 hrs (only so long because of the slow service, did I mention there were 3 other tables in the place that she wasn't serving). I would've ordered another margarita or something to fill the huge space between the completely absent service but never had a chance. I practically bussed the entire table for her yet she nor any other employees tried taking away any of the empty plates or glasses that were clearly set neatly at the edge of the table while she was busy looking at her phone and leaning against the wall or hiding away in the kitchen. We were eating out for a birthday celebration but didn't feel it was worth mentioning for a dessert or anything since it took 10 min before drink orders, 15 more to receive drinks, another 10 to take food orders. Around 25-30 more minutes for food to come out. Did I make it clear this place was flipping EMPTY? And we had 6...
