Horrible flavor and it taste like I was having a bag of sugar. I order from this place because the lady that does my cakes is not making any now because of COVID-19... I order vanilla rum coconut cake 🎂 the manager told me that mix was $100 I said ok no problem, before picking up my cake I called and ask if it was ready I was told No which it was fine I didn’t have a problem with that but, 2 min later I was called asking me if I wanted the same pic on both cakes at this point I was confuse I told the guy I order only one cake not 2 I order vanilla rum coconut cake and I order and paid for one cake. When I get to the store I was told it wasn’t ready again I was ok with that but 10min waiting and the guy tells me ( we were confuse about your order we thought was 2 cakes vanilla rum and coconut so what had to find the receipt with your order and made sure that what you said over the phone was correct), I said yes I order one cake. Finally my cake was done after I waited 30min for it ( the pick up time was scheduled for 2pm I left at 245 not acceptable and, when I was giving the cake the guy told ( you know you got a good price for this cake because this type of cake it’s a lot more ) I was actually shocked by his comment . First of all I did not make the price I was giving that price second I didn’t get the cake for free but, I didn’t say anything to him but I felt like I didn’t pay for it with his out of line comment. The other mistake was they don’t have a proper box a the cake I got and, the name on the cake was spelled wrong at this point I was upset. Finally when we cut the cake the flavor was disgusting no coconut flavor no rum flavor the cake was horrible and no one liked it the only thing good about the cake was moist that it the design of the cake was horrible the colors everything was horrible I was disappointed. The place I originally order cakes from are done so beautiful and professional compared to the horrible I did not get what I paid for I will never go back...

I had an absolutely dreadful experience with this bakery in Pembroke Pines. I ordered a cake for my husband’s 40th birthday, with detailed discussions and photos to ensure everything was perfect. Unfortunately, the cake had the wrong name “Victor” instead of “David” and the fondant was uneven and incorrect. It almost looked like it was decorated by a small child just wanting to play baker. I was charged $195 upfront with no option for a deposit, and the cake was meant for 10 people. I wanted it to be perfect, but the final product was far from what I had envisioned. When I tried to resolve the issue, the owner’s husband was shockingly rude and hostile. He snatched the cake from my hands before I could take a photo for evidence and threatened to call the police simply because I wanted to speak with the baker. He also yelled at me and his wife in front of other customers, making the experience humiliating and stressful. In the end, I was willing to take the cake despite the mistakes just because the party was the next day, but the owner refused to give it to me and instead said he’d give me a refund because he didn’t feel like giving me the cake. Unfortunately, the refund was never processed, and I had to involve my bank. The bank initiated an investigation and confirmed that the bakery never actually began the refund process. I had to rely on my bank to step in and recover my money. I also regret not reading the bakery’s reviews beforehand, as I definitely should have done my research before placing the order. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. On the same day, I visited a small family bakery in Davie, and they managed to bake and decorate the exact cake I wanted in just one day. The cake was beautiful, delicious, and cost much less than what the other bakery was charging. I strongly advise others to avoid this bakery. Their service is...

What a bad experience from the customer service to the product. I went in looking for something nice to bring to a friends. The staff member that helped me not the most pleasant but not mean either. Decided did not want to get the individual slices of cake as they had no box to put them in to make them look like an assorted cake. So then asked if they had cupcakes. He said yes. I ordered six at 3-4 dollars a cupcake. He went into the back. Never said oh I need to get them ready or anything like that ten minutes later he finally comes back out. The cupcakes were crammed into a little plastic thing like you would get off the shelf at Publix. Icing was completely smooshed and looked like a distorted mess. I would have been much better off paying $3.50 for all six at Publix at least I would not have been embarrassed to take them to the dinner. Yes it’s on me because I should never have paid for them but I as well would not want to hurt a small business after my guess was after waiting all that time they were just made. As for the review I wouldn’t want anyone to have that experience. I certainly voiced my opinions but they didn’t care. If I could figure how to put a picture I would happily do so. I can’t comment about the taste because nobody tried them. My guess is because they looked...

I have been a loyal customer of Sweet Art Bakery for over 15 years, but unfortunately, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. While their cakes have always been delicious, the quality of service has declined significantly over the years. My mother ordered and paid in full for my gender reveal cake over a week in advance. However, when she arrived to pick it up, the cake was missing! Instead of providing a suitable solution, the bakery offered a much smaller cake that was nowhere near enough for our 50-person event. To try and fix the situation, they asked us to return after hours at 8 PM to pick up a replacement. Not only was the cake still not ready when we arrived, but we waited an additional hour—until 9 PM—only to receive a cake that looked nothing like the example we had provided. After 15 years of loyalty, I am shocked and disappointed by how poorly this was handled. This was an important occasion for me, and I expected far better service and professionalism. This will be the last time I order from Sweet Art Bakery—I will never be back.

Got a pistachio cake for my husband's birthday and it's absolutely terrible. It's raw in the center, soggy, flavorless, and the icing is gritty and tastes like plastic. The center is so underdone it's still wet- it's like a paste. I was also shocked that the cake is a gross shade of army green- I expect a pistachio cake to maybe be green, but this color is so unappetizing. It just tasted like butter and sugar- not a hint of pistachio or any kind of flavor. We've never thrown a cake out but it's completely inedible. It's so soggy I'm actually not sure it's safe to eat. I don't know how old the cake was since it wasn't prepared for me which is also disappointing since I ordered ahead- they just pulled one off the shelf and wrote happy birthday on it. It's such a disappointment since I wanted him to have a great day.
