I know 5 stars may seem odd but I've never reviewed anything.ive worked and stayed at my share.i found myself in Pendleton Oregon. I ran into some issues and found myself stuck.i picked the closest hotel.stroled in with my bag over my shoulder.car was in the shop and and I must tell you I was concerned about how this may apear..I'm a disabled veteran and let's just say it wasn't my best day.in the midst of a pandemic,at 3 an I was greeted at the desk the manager Nirmal (Happy )Singh.he immediately made me feel welcome and got me in my room.nice clean and large bed awaited me .the carpet was fresh.furniture was new .micro.mini fridge.and toqletries and soaps not just chosen for their very bottom of the list price.the set up for breakfast wasn't a tray of stale Dounuts, but a line of waffle irons and stuff ud see at say a hilton.pandemic had it unavailable but I noticed and told Mr Singh it was impressive.wish I'd got to use it.and before I could finish the sentence he handed me a pretty packed sack full of different things.fresh fruit granola ect ect.lets face it.,travel style Hotels are a bed to sleep .not a destination.but Mr.Singh and his professional manor, along side the super clean room turned a bad situation into a restful welcomed sutuation.if they built a resort out of gold.and it was in Pendleton Oregon, and I found myself rolling in on a free gold tower day,I'd drive right past and go to the AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN.if the corporate big shots see this",,,Nirmal Singh needs a statue in your...
Read morePricing structure was frustrating and did not work well with Priceline / Booking service. Had to call booking service to fix issues with the stay after calling the hotel to verify reservation. The time on the phone with Priceline was long and frustrating adding to disconnect between the hotel and the booking service.
We booked two hotel rooms for a family of ten. Two adults and eight children. The booking service only passed along one adult per room.
The hotel has an aggravating policy to charge extra per person over two people. Kind of like “Spirit Arlines” with hidden fees. Why, for a room with a capacity of six let alone two rooms that bed six do that?!
If the operator of the facility values customer feedback here is my recommendation.
Simplify the fee structure and adjust your fees up on average to cover costs associated with room usage and remove the “extra per person charge”. It communicates poorly on the management of the business and hurts your brand.
Instead, provide unadvertised discounts for smaller groups or individuals as you see fit. Then your business seems more philanthropically inclined and more generous.
It will take time for that reputation to spread and if done well it should bring more customers to your establishment with...
Read moreI have been staying in this motel for about 3 months now. I really enjoy the clean rooms and the perfectly folded beds. The staff is very helpful and completely devoted to assisting in all ways necessary. The area is quite and there is a river park and trail right behind the hotel. Going on the trail to feed the local birds is a pastime i quite enjoy at this location. The local shopping and restaurants are all in a mile radius so if you enjoy a brief walk you could make it into town safely and within 30 minutes or less walking. If you prefer the lazy route there is a local Taxi you can call or you could take the public transportation they are always so nice and helpful, never leaving a person behind and still running on time. There are bathtubs in all the rooms which is great because i do not like showers. Other than that there is a pool that's open in the summer and I can't wait to experience the Round up (which is a large event they have every year in town) activities when they get...
