Backfire Station has been a go-to place for my husband and I since they opened. The servers are always very kind and accommodating. This was no different last night, when I asked our server if the stereo could be turned down a bit, so that we could more easily hear the conversation at our table. Unfortunately, there were a group of men sitting at a table together, and one of them was in charge of the stereo remote. Periodically, he would blast the music, and look over at our table for a reaction before turning it down again. This went on for about an hour before one the women in our party walked by the stereo and turned it down to a reasonable volume. The man who had been messing with the volume shouted across the room that she "had balls" turning the volume down. After he did not get a reaction from us, he proceeded to walk over to our table and tell her to her face that she had "balls." He told us that he thought he was being funny and didn't think that we were irritated at all by what he was doing with the music. This was clearly not the case, and we told him this. As we were leaving, he yet again blasted the music. I was appalled to learn that this man is actually one of the owners of Backfire Station. Unfortunately, I will no longer support an establishment who treats their customers with such disregard. It was quite...
Read moreYou just might want to rev up your taste buds and head over to Backfire Station for a culinary tour de force you won't soon forget! A treasure trove of culinary delights and motor cycle memorabilia awaits you to accelerate your senses in ways you may not have hitherto experienced. Savanah waited on us with such amazing hospitality and delightful disposition even satisfying my request for french dressing tho not on their standard list of salad accessories. I think they must keep a bottle hidden in the back. We had the "spark plug" appetizer that ignited our hunger followed by a Baja 500 chicken topped salad and a Thai grilled shrimp bowl. It was delicious with some real skill from the chef from start to finish 🏁. There was an inviting fire 🔥 in the fire pit out front that we will avail ourselves to upon our next visit. I look forward to touring my way through the menue in the comming...
Read moreDisappointed with my first visit as I was traveling through town on a Sunday afternoon. Service was subpar. Didn't know if I had to wait to be seated or if it's seat yourself as it's not clear. Server didn't seem to want to be there. Ordered a DOUBLE bloody Mary and it was below average. $20 for a double and not one hint of alcohol. No seasoning. Just tasted like tomato juice out of a can. Extremely disappointed there. Got the Norman which had some good flavor but you could tell it was prepackaged pastrami. Maybe I'm wrong. Got a side of slaw instead of fries cause the heat that day and again, slaw was less than average. Watery and no flavor, even if I added salt and pepper. They seem to go out of their way with all the moto related items and that's what drew me in but food, drinks and service would not bring me back. $35 for lunch for one...
