Our favorite dog park even though it's clear across town for us! We have 2 dogs and one on borrowed status right now (so 3 total). Two of them are still puppy stage and pomskys which are known for having attitudes. One in particular is both terrified and aggressive towards other dogs. We try to come here as much as possible (made sure they were vaxxed first!). While I haven't been able to successfully integrate the scared/aggressive pup fully, he is opening up to other dogs. Thankfully they have the big dog area and a separate smaller dog area so I take him to that side and he can check out others through the fence. Both sides have plenty of play areas for the dogs from tunnels, ball, etc. There are water stations throughout the year except winter. They have poop bag stations as well. There's quite a few regulars that go there too, usually around 430 on weekdays. Easily during that time of day you can come across 20 dogs at a time. Have never had any issues with any dog or owner. Parking is across the street and there are separate entrances for big and smal dog sides as well as a gate that connects them inside. Home run also hosts many events. My fav it always the Howl a Ween party where they do a costume contest in several categories. Tons of people/dogs participate and it's worth...
Read moreI am a new dog, mum. And didn't realize that there was even park specific 4 dogs period This park is amazing. There is so much to do for the dogs, especially for training and play. There is two separate areas, a big area for all dogs and a little separate area for the little dog if they want to get away. There is smaller equipment in the small dog gated area as well for training little ones. My fur baby didn't have socialization and needed training. She had none prior and I was new to the dog world so I looked up a park to walk my dog. I called it a dog park and this came up! When I got there I was a little confused because I have never seen one. Once in the big gated area (lease free safe if dog is good) It always has someone or multiple people there with their fur babies! Plenty of socialization and fun FOR your fur baby! Would recommend to any dog owner! I'm so happy we found this place it's roxys favorite...
Read moreThought this was a really nice dog park at first. After coming here more frequently I found out this is not the case. There's so many irresponsible pet owners who refuse to control their dogs because they're too lazy. Yes they have expressed this by saying things such as "I don't feel like it" or "I don't feel like walking all the way over there so." Not only that but there are so many uneutered dogs here it's insane. I have never in my life been to a dog park that allows unfixed dogs before. I was under the impression this was not allowed at first because this is the norm for every other dog park I've been to (posted on the rule board for these parks). If you're ok with the other dogs constantly trying to aggressively mount your dog, and irresponsible owners, then this is the dog...
