Subway — Restaurant in Pennfield Charter Township

So glad to have this great Subway shop nearby. With all the fast food options available the burger joints, the taco joints, the chicken joints as well as the other individual eateries, this Subway is a diamond in the rough. It is part of a small building with another business on the other side but not attached or open to Subway. Not quite free standing the one limitation is the parking situation. There is diagonal parking along the side of the building but many people seem to get confused about how they should be parking there which can create some issues as it sets right on the roadway. The with a bit of patience getting parked I found this to be one of the best in quality, speed of service, and available selections. The staff is always warm and friendly. If they are having an issue, such as an item being out of stock, they are helpful and offer alternatives. I have found them to go above and beyond to be helpful and always leave a decent tip, pleased with the service I've received and knowing I'll be happy with my meal. Typically I am in and out getting two different sandwich orders in about 10 minutes. Had a terrible experience tonight with your younger employee. As she threw everything around slammed doors she greeted us with “what do you want” after I explained what I wanted she said ok toasted I said yes please then it was my husbands turn. I mentioned the type he wanted as we got down to condiments she began throwing them on our subs, my husband asked for light lettuce mustard and mayo, she throws tomato’s on his sub he explained twice he didn’t want tomato’s she started conversations with another employee and and completely ignored us and started to add the mustard and mayo. I got a little loud to explain he does NOT want tomato’s so she grabs all the tomato’s and half of the lettuce off his sub throws mayo and mustard and wraps up the sub. We thanked her she rolled her eyes huffed and puffed slammed the doors and walked to the back. Honestly the worst customer service we’ve ever...

The manager gave me a dirty look because i have a mask on and no employee did. I was ordering my food and the manager asked the next customers to come right up to order so that's for their social distancing. It doesn't exist in this Subway. I eat at subway all the time and i will never eat at this one again. I don't care if you believe the virus is real or a government conspiracy. Im not making anyone wear a mask that doesn't want but if i feel there may be something to the virus i should have the right to protect my family just like i don't say anything to the people that don't believe in the virus.
