Taco Bell — Restaurant in Pennfield Charter Township

I obtained a “ONE free item of your choice” coupon a few months ago from Taco Bell for a mess up with meat (because I don’t eat meat). The coupon expires 12/31/25. It says in the fine print its able to be used on an item of my choice priced $10 or less, and not to be used on boxes, party packs, etc.

Tonight, I tried using it at said Taco Bell above around 8:30. My boyfriend and my own order contained a 5-Layer Beefy Burrito, a Mt. Dew Baja Blast, and a Strawberry Drangonfruit Refresca. And sides of diablo. We intended to use it for my boyfriend’s 5 layer burrito (an under $10 singular item).

I got to the window, and handed the employee my coupon (He had red hair, red facial hair, petty young). He got immediately defensive and said he couldn’t take it because I didn’t say it at the speaker (how was I supposed to know the robot had that ability to know what coupon I was using or to even give the robot or employee my coupon at the speaker). Then told me to hold on, showed his employee the coupon, and said that the coupon was only valid for a “crunchy or soft taco”. When I pointed out that the coupon has “free Item OF YOUR CHOICE” and even read the fine print to him since he did not in any of the time he had it, he refused the coupon and we ended up having to pay for an item that should’ve been covered.

How hard is it to be understanding and fix an order. Especially when I wasn’t aware I had to say something at...

Was told to get out of the car line because, the person taking my order couldn't here me and was messing up the order. So I patiently wait while she got her microphone changed. Then another gentlemen got on the headset and took part of the order. As he gave the headset back and I tried to complete my order, the car in back of me began to rev his engine and yell slurred words. As I said something back to the person behind me another gentlemen got in the headset and tells me because I said a curse word I had to get out of line. As I began to plea my case and tell the gentlemen on the headset what happen, he told me he didn't care and that he was instantly calling the police. I was up set, said that we re acting like the person behind me now and pulled off. This is shocking because I have been going to this Taco Bell forever and because the person taking my order couldn't hear me, I wasn't able to feed my feed myself after a hard day's of work. I usually don't complain but there has been multiple times this Taco bell has let me dowm, and I have yet to say anything. But this was to much. I'm upset! -Sincerely a...

So my family made an order tonight in drive-thru. Let's say this place is worried more about a drive-thru timer than quality of the meal and packing. A box $5 meal was just thrown into the bag with the rest of the order and sauces packed in the bag about to split yet when the customer my mother a woman on an Oxygen tank tells them its unacceptable packing they said "You'll have to come inside to get it fixed" this shows to anyone who has worked fast food that they just wanted to rush the orders out for a faster time. Yet when the meal got to the house you see burrito Supremes with rush making because all the tortilla wraps was busted open on the sides. If - stars was possible give this place a -10 and make them understand the timer means nothing if you have to rewrap or pack the food because you messed up.
