We have been to this restaurant a few times. We were helping my brother-in-law move and he lives close to the restaurant so thought we would grab brunch. After we got home, my husband looked at the bill and couldn’t understand why one of our orders was $14 for two eggs, two pancakes and hashbrowns. I called the restaurant and told her I thought there was a mistake and that I would bring in the receipt the next day. I was told by the manager that he ordered hashbrowns instead of the meat and they didn’t have that option on the menu. So he basically was charged à la carte but it still did not add up that he was charged $14 when a very large breakfast is only 8.99. She refused to give me any type of refund and when I told her I wasn’t happy with that. She told me that I didn’t have to come back anymore and threw a menu at me and said I can look at the prices. I told her I will definitely not be coming back And that I don’t need her menu. I told her I will be calling my credit card company to correct this issue and she said go ahead. I have never met such a rude person in a management role in my life. After reading some of the other reviews, especially the one regarding the police officer who was told to leave, I will discourage anyone from giving this restaurant...
Read moreI have been here twice this week. The first time, we had awesome service. The food was not very good the first time. The chicken quesadilla had maybe 1/2 of a chicken breast spread around and the bacon in it was undercooked. The chili cheese fries had the soup chili on them rather than coney sauce, which I did not care for because it makes the fries soggy. The second time I tried the chili cheese fries with the coney sauce. The portion of fries I got the second time was less than half of what I got the first time. The coney sauce is just hamburger with a bunch of salt and grease, not a sauce at all. It is nothing like the coney sauce that is served in Detroit. It was so gross. The fries on the bottom were literally sitting in 1/2 inch of grease and not edible. The burger had absolutely no flavor and was oddly dry. The server never asked us how the food was, and neither did the cashier. Both the server and the cashier were unfriendly. With tip, I paid $25 for a burger and chili cheese fries; not worth the cost at all! I will not be back...

After having some pre-surgery appointments, we stopped in for breakfast.
The service here is excellent, friendly, helpful and efficient. Jerry had the Country-fried steak special, I had Blueberry Cheesecake pancakes. He was very happy with his. Mine were tasty, generous blueberries in two LARGE pancakes, with whipped cream on the side. Could have used a more "cheesecake" flavor, but was very enjoyable. Everything was done perfectly.
Typical sticker shock eating out these days But with Bidenomics, it's all too familiar.
Original:
Hubby had a hankering for a Coney dog, but didn't want to go out. I had a hankering for onion rings, so we ordered takeout. The dogs were wrapped in waxed paper, which had absorbed both the juice from the Coney sauce and the dogs, as well as the moisture from the buns. Onion rings were very good, but already getting cold by the time I made the 7-8 minute drive home.
We will try these again, but in the restaurant. See if that's better, but takeout is not recommended, especially for...
