As a Battle Creek local with a gluten sensitivity; and not the oh my tummy hurts a bit, and let me tell everyone how Im Gluten free, but a actually it trys to kill me and quick get me my epi pen! đ€Ł finding a pizza place that caters to my dietary needs can be a challenge. Enter Pennfield Pizzaâa true gem for gluten-free pizza lovers, and as my kids and wife teased me with the delicious-smelling â normal â đ a master of that as well.
I tried their 10â gluten-free pizza. The crust was delightfully crispy on the outside and just soft enough on the inside, providing the perfect base for my favorite toppings. I went with a classic combo of sausage, onions, and green peppers, and each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors.
What impressed me most was their attention to dietary restrictions. While they note that their kitchen isnât a certified gluten-free environment, they take precautions to minimize cross-contamination, which I greatly appreciate. Itâs comforting to know they care about their customersâ health and well-being. As a business owner myself it's attention to the details that matter, and I take note of that.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish, and gave me the small town feel that I know and love and is also why we located our office in Pennfield as well. So whether youâre gluten-intolerant or just looking to try something new, I highly recommend giving their gluten-free pizza a shot. Your taste buds will thank you, and your community as well as its all our jobs to support our local...
Read moreThey gave my whole family food poisoning. The owner Matt is a self centered douche bag who is stuck on his own jock. My wife had to threaten to call the health department just to get our money back from his food making all of us super sick. We returned with 90% of the food left. His pizza is burned because he uses cheddar cheese. Simple google search backs me up and not his stupid mouth, "Cheddar cheese will not melt correctly. It is ok on low heat for short periods (grilled cheese), but baking it long enough to cook the rest of the pizza will make it toughen up and secrete oil. ... So use it if you want, but you'll want to make a thinner crust pizza that you cook longer at a lower temp.Jun 2, 2014" Save your money and family and just get a little ceasers hot and ready for $5. That ensures you dont get ripped off, poisoned, or degraded. Sorry matt but part of owning a business is knowing that you WILL get bad reviews and negative feedback. Not a single business has 100% positive feedback and you are not special like you think. My uncle worked at Buddy's Pizza in Detroit and would make pizzas for the presidents. I know a good pizza and yours belongs in...
Read moreThe pizza was good, nice and cheesy, crust was a little hard but overall 4đs but the service.... Maybe I should say lack there of... There's no reason when there are 3 tables we should have felt neglected over and over again... We were asked if we needed anything ONCE we were there over an hour... As patrons we shouldn't have had to seek out the server, especially when you can pretty much see from one side to the other inside, not once, not twice but multiple times for refills, one time she was wiping a table, fine, but she saw me then continued on her merry way anyways.... I waited tables for 15 years and have a VERY hard time leaving anything less than 20% she got 10% and quite frankly didn't deserve even that much, bad service makes for an overall bad experience.... next time I want Pennfield Pizza I will be...
