I stopped in this store yesterday to buy a lipstick and when the cashier Ariana was ringing it up she mentioned a credit card. I had already been wanting an Ulta credit card just like my Sally’s card so I agreed. After I got approved and payment was processed, I was walking out I hadn’t even reached the door and I heard Ariana bragging to the other employees saying “I got her! I got her for a credit card” and “she only saved $2”. I thought it was extremely unprofessional to speak about a customer before they have even left the store. Also, I didn’t care at all about the 20% discount, the lipstick was only $12 and I literally pay my 10 year old triple that amount for allowance every week. I didn’t appreciate it and I also didn’t appreciate how rude she was. In addition she didn’t even greet me when I reached the register. I hope the management see this and reprimands this young lady. She should learn a lesson in customer service before dealing with anymore customers. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth with Ulta, and has me set on going to Sephora instead from...
Read moreI find this location is hit or miss. Either the employees are friendly and helpful or they couldn’t care less about helping. Today’s visit was a mix. Not great as I walked in, but approached a couple of times while smelling perfume and looking at makeup. Those individuals were great! Then I went over to look for a specific hair product. I was asked if I needed help and I informed her what I was looking for. She said they didn’t carry that brand. I asked if Sephora did and she said no. I then looked up Sephora and sure enough it was there. I happened to hear another employee mention Sephora to another customer while browsing. So either this employee wasn’t willing to chance me going to Sephora and spend my money, or she just didn’t know. It was a pretty quick no, so..... I have been to this location on several occasions and have asked for perfume samples since they don’t always have a bottle open. They never seem to have any samples available. Read moreNegative stars honestly, I need a very obvious correction on my bangs and JAYCI was so rude to me about my hair. I told her several times I didn’t care how short they were as long as they were even and that I actually really enjoyed micro bangs I thought they were cute and her reply to that was “good for you! Not a lot of people do.” Whatever that means. I had to keep telling and showing her that they weren’t even. Very hesitant to keep cutting as if she had to go home with these bangs. THEN at the end she just left me in the chair with them sticking straight out. What was a problem that any professional person would try to correct with comfort she just made me feel like shit about honestly. HEAVY on the mean girl energy.
