So, this park has the potential to be a really great spot for practically any type of event or gathering you could come up with. Wide open fully grassed field that has numerous shade trees at different points. The games you could play are endless. The work out station is a unique feature that offers different stations to perform exersises that will definitely work many different muscle groups. My biggest suggestion is make sure you bring gloves to be able to grab hold of the metal bars to perform each exercise and also towel for the seated station. Perris should cover the work out area to reduce the temperature of the stations, and should also have antibacterial wipes to help clean up after workout. The expansion of the restrolms (I am guessing that's what's being done) is still going on (as of 6/1/19, and can be loud and a distraction if you want to relax, but sacrifices are needed to get new features. Basketball area and the kids gymnasium area are pretty good...but are too small and also lack shade or covered play area. The skate park is adequate but the potential for expansion should def be raised at City meetings. I'm not an expert at parks I just try to give some good reviews and this park is large and seems safe and fun for kids. I just don't recommend going without some additional umbrellas or pop ups for parents to relax under as the only covered area has two park benches (also metal) and the shade trees are far from the kids play...
Read moreThere's a decent 5-stair and a barrier that can be positioned in any way that you're "confined to a skate park"heart desires. To be honest I randomly found this park from walking through the neighborhood one day. It's a very hidden away and obscure park that from the outside, doesn't appear to have been overrun by kids trying to film their entire get discovered quick part yet. Along with everything else in their lives, they are doing it for all the wrong reasons and will fail.
It's rare to see an untouched gem of artificial dimensions like this. I'm surprised it hasn't become a playground for kids that have yet to master the Ollie, but you see them having a psychotic breakdown, attempting a switch backside heelflip on the 5-stair. Most confined spaces like these are more overrun than a checkpoint in...
Read moreI have two family members who live in this neighborhood near Paragon park but it seems every time we bring the kids to play here on the afternoon, there is always people smoking on the benches just 10 feet away from the playground. I don’t care or necessarily have an opinion on whether people decide to smoke or not but when one of my children is asthmatic, then it’s important for me to have a good selection of where we go to play that is safe for my children. I avoid coming here due to this reason only;however, on the positive side, I have noticed new upgrades to the park by adding restrooms and an...
