Honest review, I waited about 6 months to write this. I have suffered from obesity since I was a child one day I finally decided to set foot in a gym to try to improve myself, then I came across "Fitness 19" Where I was given a warm welcome, and asked myself why I had not come before, definitely the facilities and the equipment are the best I have seen, I also decided to hire a trainer, "Raymond" because I had no idea where to start in this world, and I must say that it has been a most pleasant experience, it is true that his exercises can leave you completely sore in half an hour (ā§ā½ā¦) but you really feel safe with him, he's careful, creative, knowledgeable and really motivates you, he's in charge of giving you tips on exercises, also on nutrition, and closely monitors that all the exercises you do under his care are correct, this It's important because even bad posture can ruin everything, and having the willingness to see what you need and just push you to the limit according to your needs without hurting yourself or overdoing it makes his training sessions excellent. "Raymond" is a very nice guy, kind and patient, you don't have to worry about the stoic personality that they paint in a trainer, quite the opposite, he likes to form healthy bonds with his clients, he will be in awesome friend and trainer, so if you are looking to lose weight, increase your muscle mass, or target specific group of muscles "Raymond" is definitely the guy to hire. Regarding my results in these 6 months, I must say that I did lose a few pounds, what I like the most is that my muscle mass, strength and endurance definitely increased. As a last reminder, take into account that even if it is the best of gyms, or the best trainer, you cannot achieve such incredible results if the decision and the responsibility does not come from you, in this journey a trainer and the gym will be a light in the path, but you will travel this by your own, so dear friend "May the discipline guide you where the motivation is trying to stay...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been coming to this gym for about 3 months now, here are my real thoughts on the gym
It's a nice gym! The staff is nice and there are a lot of free weights around so you will not have difficulty finding weights, but man so many people come to this gym lol. What I've found is, nomatter what day of the week I show up, nomatter what time of day I show up, nomatter how far into my workout I am, about 8/10 times you want to hop on any station or machine you will have to wait because somebody is on it. Then when you find another workout to substitute the workout you wanted to, you're gonna have to wait to do that also lol. I know that's irrelevant to fitness 19 and that isn't their fault, but that's a fact.
A few other things I dislike: this gym literally only has 2 foam rollers, and it could be a scavenger hunt to even find one. the cleaners close off the restroom a little too much. Yes, they are only doing their jobs and want to provide us with a clean restroom (the restrooms are very nice and smell like fruit loops loool), but quiet some times when you need to use the restroom, you'll have to wait (it can be a while) this gym plays waayy too much Spanish speaking music. It's almost all they play
Things I like: parkings okay (You might have to park around the corner of the building) this gym has 4 flat bench presses with barbell a good amount of squat racks a lot of free weights as I've mentioned bumper plates A lot of lower body and upperbody machines a lot of treadmills very nice restrooms nice staff as mentioned a big "grass" area to do stretching and miscellaneous workouts
I find it funny how the cleaners vacuuming, they don't give af if you're working out or not they'll get right up in you're space it's pretty funny, although...
