CASTOR NAIL SALON & SPA — Attraction in Philadelphia

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and watched this place have many owners. I never really complain even tho I’m spending my hard earned money plus leaving generous tips. But this time is different. Owners are extremely polite especially the husband his customers service is a 10.. today I went in like any other day and received my normal service. My nails were so bad looking and I asked her to fix them and she only made them bulkier. I’ve got cut with the tools 3 time and started to bleed all 3 times even on my feet..I pointed this out to the female owner and she even agreed that it was a mess however she told me that nobody would be able to tell. Instead of offering me to come back another day bcuz I already was in there for hrs..she handled the payment and even asked if I wanted to customize my tip. I’m a very nice person so I did. I just thought since we all seen that this was such a horrible experience/service today that they wouldn’t ask for one. I’m just so disappointed and it’s pretty greedy to take someone’s money plus tip and not offer to fix what I paid for..I’m sure if the husband seen or was up there he wouldn’t have done that. I take pride into everything I pay for so this really hurts that I left with my hands...

The owners called the cops on me on my birthday. It's Saturday and I got $100 eyelash extensions on Thursday. Today, they are already falling out. I went back and asked if they could be fixed. The owner told me to wait 40 minutes. I told her I couldn't wait because I had to be somewhere soon. She kept telling me I had to wait, even though I told her I did not have time to. She got upset and told me to come tomorrow. My birthday is today and I'm going out of town, I can't wait. They refused to do a partial refund for the damaged lashes, and accused me of "trying to get them for free", even after I said they could take them off. My dad saw me getting upset and tried to help, and the owner's husband said that "it's their problem" and started screaming at my dad. We also got loud and the lady owner called the cops and told them we were screaming. She called the cops and played victim as if she wasn't rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. She ended the conversation by saying she would contact her lawyer regarding the situation and that I "disrespect her business". Lol. I will never be back. They lost a solid customer because of their disrespect and inability to compromise. I hope it...

Today was my first time visiting this salon and I must say was a very good first impression. Soon as I walked in the door I was given a warm welcome from the owners. After I was asked what kind of service I wanted to get the owner offered me something to drink. As I sat in the chair for my pedicure everything was explained as to how my experience would go. I mean down to the “T”. With this experience I’ve never had this kind of experience ANYWHERE else. The owners and I had great conversations I was even asked again if I wanted something to drink. Another part of the service that I loved was that the tech took his time. He did not rush to get me out the chair and at the end I was given a wax treatment on my feet☺️. Thee best..
