Frankford Nail Salon — Attraction in Philadelphia

I came into Frankford Nail Salon this past Monday and tbh I had been really frustrated and felt like I'd never find a local salon I'd be 100% happy & satisfied with the services.

Eva at Frankford Nail Salon changed my mind and earned a new regular customer. When I came in, the salon was busy, every tech had a customer in their chair, but everyone was welcoming and polite. I only waited maybe 15 minutes for the service to be started and immediately felt reassured by Eva's speedy assessment of the service I requested. She beautifully shaped my nails exactly how I like and polished to perfection. She has such a soft, gentle touch and is very service oriented finalizing the refill with a soothing hand massage.

Next we went to the pedicure which I was desperate for some TLC and received just that. Despite coming later closer to closing time my services were efficient and not rushed. I felt the care and concern to ensure I had a great service. My toes look fantastic and the foot massage had me falling asleep in the massage chair.

The manager Carl was very professional and helpful, his work on nails is Superb! I loved that he had a new employee and showed her how to do it by doing it himself instead of letting her experiment. The atmosphere was very spa like with calming music they kept up the pace so no one was waiting long. Walk-ins were welcome. They were very clean and up to date with COVID protocol everyone kept their mask on from employees to clients. Spoke very well English I asked for specific nails and received exactly what I asked for. Loved that they were open on Sunday I walked in with two of my sisters we were all helped in a very timely fashion and was able to sit with each other. I would recommend this nail salon to everyone. I went to the salon today to get my nails done, but the technician who usually does them for me was off. The owner told me that none of the other girls wanted to do my nails because I’m “too picky.”

I asked him why, since I’ve never been rude or disrespectful to anyone. He mentioned the time when another technician cut my toenail wrong and I quietly filed it myself because it hurt — I never stopped her from working or complained; I just fixed that one nail and let her continue.

Hearing that was humiliating. I’ve always been polite and respectful every time I’ve gone there.
