I went to Wendy’s to get partial highlights. The service was good however my hair started breaking after the service. I’ve been getting my hair highlighted for over 10 years and never experienced breakage. I was going to let it go but when I realized how much of my hair broke I couldn’t. So I finally went to talk to the owner to request a partial refund due to the amount of breakage and was told that “maybe my hair broke because I flat iron my hair too much”. She asked how many times a week I flat iron my hair. LOL she made that assumption because my hair is straight and I guess her lack of knowledge with African American hair played a part in that comment. My hair is long and very healthy and I don’t even flat iron my hair weekly which is why I’ve never had issues before. The owner offered 20% off my next service, I don’t know why I would go back after this. I just wish she would have refunded something back after seeing something obviously went wrong. I paid $150 to have my hair break everywhere the blonde touched due to it being over processed. My father is 67 years old and normally doesn’t like the way barbers cut his hair. I took him to Wendy Beauty Salon and got his hair done and when I say he was amazed I really mean it. I drop my father home and came right back to IIva to get my hair done too. First of all what an amazing personality IIva has. God bless her! Not only I cut my hair , I also did some highlights something I’ve never done before. I love the way she made my hair look. Shop is very clean, very reasonable price. Parking? Not even a problem....

LADIES RUN DONT WALK to make those appointments!! I drive almost 4 hours from CT to get my hair done here because I can’t find anyone that does EXACTLY what I want. WORTH THE DRIVE EVERYTIME.
