HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! So much so that it bothered me all weekend. I was told by receptionist that i should come at 12pm because she didnt want me to wait too long while the stylist finish her previous appt. I get there 1210 and my stylist was doing someone's hair. I asked the receptionist if i could leave so i left for another 15mins thinking i had the time to do so. Keep in mind that ive been there a few times before and have had to wait over 30mins. They charged me for a no show fee $25 and said its because i was late over an hr which was not the case nor was it fair. They stated my appt was 1130am. I explained it to the owner but they insisted they would charge me. The receptionist felt bad about it and was wondering why they charging me that amt.. she even tried to pay for the fee but never really wanted to admit it to the owner. Ive never had this experience with a shop, it was unprofessional and embarrassing in front of other customers. And to add, the first time i got color there, it didnt take so the stylist suggested a rinse when i came back but when i went there this time, she then insisted i do perm color so i was paying more than i expected to$55. I decided to just do it and it didnt even come out the burgundy i wanted. The press and curl $50 dropped same day because she was rushing on top of them charging me no show fee$25(which they claim is a late fee which is posted as $15). Read moreThis was my first time bringing my daughter to this establishment. The receptionist was very pleasant and kind. I sent pictures of my daughter‘s hair currently and the style she was requesting. I was referred to a stylist that I was told would service my child. When I picked up my child, the style looked nothing like the picture. The braids were huge no designs, and the natural curls were not set. The stylist coincidentally was very young of age and wore a lace front which were two red flags for me, but I still decided to proceed. The owner told me that her stylist was incapable of providing that style because she said it herself but she still proceeded to make the attempt!!!! The owner requested that I come back and get it done over. My child was gone for the week. It was an inconvenience for me. I cannot bring my child to go through the experience again. It should’ve been done right the first time at this moment I’m still waiting on a refund. I will never ever come back or suggest anyone go there for a natural hair care if they are hiring stylist who do not wear their hair naturally!! Read moreI had been thinking about getting color for a very long time and this salon was recommended. I booked for permanent coloring, trim and a twist out. To achieve the desire look I knew my hair had to be bleached. After about a month I called the shop because the colors had completely faded and I was confused since permanent coloring doesn’t faded as quick as the color had. I spoke with Ms. Lorraine in which she stated I should have been told that I was given and I would need to come back for a touch up. I explained to her that I book specifically for permanent coloring and had I known that I was going to be given a rinse I wouldn’t have gotten the services. Ms. Lorraine stated I could come in and have the color touched up at half price. Well a couple days later Patra(stylist who did my hair) leaves a voicemail about how I would have to pay full price for my services due to the fact that permanent coloring is supposed to fade. I’ve spoken to numerous stylists about the situation and each person let me know that what I was given is A: a rinse and B: permanent would have NOT faded in the my color has.
