Sweet Treat Hut — Restaurant in Philadelphia

The opening hours for this location are incorrect on Google Maps. I came here early after a work out because the opening times were posted as 6:30 AM.

I arrived at 6:30 AM and waited. I saw an employee at inside the location and wanted simply to confirm if indeed the opening time was 6:30 AM. If it was not, I was more than content to simply find another location that was open.

The employee could clearly see me, yet she chose to ignore me. I knocked on the door to get her attention. Again, she saw me and purposely chose to ignore me.

If this location does not desire to have customers at their door at a time they are not open, and deliberately chooses to not engage with customers who are simply inquiring about the opening time to plan their day accordingly, they really need to update their opening hours on Google maps so the correct information is disseminated to potential customers.

I even tried to call the number listed, and the call I placed would not go through.

I am not from the area and do not frequent this location, so I wouldn’t know otherwise. If I had, I would not have driven all the way to this location, only to find out it was closed, and then additionally to be ignored when simply trying to inquire about the true opening time.

It was terrible customer service. This person could have simply informed me that they were closed, and I would I left with accurate information to potentially frequent...

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I honestly wish I could give a 0/5 with how frustrating this first and only experience was with them, but here we are. I went to get a smoothie this past Sunday during my hour break from classes because I had researched and saw this was a "good smoothie" place in my neighborhood. I put in my order and waited over 30 minutes for a smoothie and still didn't have it. I went to ask them what's the hold up and apparently the cashier wrote my order down wrong so they had to start over. I saw multiple people who came in after me to order leaving with their orders and when I asked about it the cashier said they were there first which I told him they weren't. It was a mess! One person making smoothies for 10+ people there. I complain about the issue and my wait and they DO NOTHING. I hate that I have to do this, as I am a big proponent of supporting black business, but unfortunately, it seems to go wrong a lot of times and I need to speak on it. It was my first time and I do not plan to go back. And remember people, THIS WAS ONE SMOOTHIE; NOT A STEAK DINNER. Wrong order, 45 minute total wait, and yes while it was good, absolutely no smoothie is worth...

I do NOT recommend going to this place. The lady who is Jamaican who makes the juice has a nasty attitude. They are very passive aggressive, they greet the men with a smile but greet the ladies with a condescending attitude. The bathroom door is very unclean and it’s exactly where the juice is being made. She touch the bathroom door with gloves then proceed to pickup fruits and add the fruits to the blender. The Philadelphia Health Department should further look into this establishment. They are also shorthanded because it’s just one person making 15 orders, and the orders are not label by names, which confuses everyone orders when there is 20 waiting, which also had people missing their orders. They need to update all the devices that they are using as well because the lady who is making the smoothies was pissed and threw things on the side of the counter because a customer said they placed their order over half hour ago, so she started mismanaging everything. Their communication level is 0. Cleaning is 0. Attitude is 0. The neighborhood is also sketchy. Do NOT GO! Also VERY...
