Laurel Hill Gardens — Attraction in Philadelphia

This business located on Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill did a marvelous job of creating a beautiful Autumn atmosphere with a nice eerie touch of the approaching Halloween. There is a large open area as you walk through the gateway that reminded me of that large barnyard area thar you see on farms. There were haystack trellis and step shelving adorned with flowers plants Pumpkins squashes and figures. A small shed area off to one side with more plants and flowers. In the back is the office room with things to purchase for your house plants and gardening needs. Also this is where you pay. It's worth a stop in just ti see the decorations....

Really beautiful place with SO much plant and flower variety. Prices are definitely reasonable. I ended up getting like 16 plants including some larger, more expensive ones including a big ol butterfly bush for like $280 total which is really not bad! I got lots of perennials too so they come back year after year. They helped me load into my car too :) definitely worth checking out, even if gardening...

I never leave bad reviews but I’ll never return to this place. My friend and I were here and MULTIPLE staff members looked at us nothing. No hello, how are you ladies doing, do you need anything. NOTHING! We are both black women and there was no one else shopping. It was very disheartening and it took us awhile to shake off the feeling. Never thought I’d have to leave a review like...
