Luisiany's Dominican Salon — Attraction in Philadelphia

I’m here now and I have to say this is the best Dominican hair salon I’ve ever been too. Maybe it’s because im used to New York salons where they’re very rude and rough with your hair but they’re the complete opposite here. I had an appointment and was taken in right away. Very gentle with my hair and knowledgeable about hair. They took their time in a good way. Service is absolutely amazing. When i first came in they were doing a little girls 4b hair and it came out AMAZING. Her mother actually said she’s been coming to this very salon for over 10+ years and refused to go anywhere else. Silk presses are charging ungodly prices and i just prefer a DR blowout anyways nothing like it but a much better price. So amazing here I’ll be coming back!

I’ll only ever get a style done here I’ll stick to my professional stylist when it comes to trims and such. But great back up if you ever just need your hair done & your stylist is out of town. But if you need a haircut, stick with ur personal stylist as they know your hair. She said i needed a trim but i don’t trust anyone with my trims especially because my hair is very particular and naturally grows uneven and my personal stylist is aware of that and trims it based on that. Hello my name is Towanda and l simply adore this shop!!! I travel a hour & 20 minutes from.Delaware. I have been coming here for almost 10yrs. Luiysa is a very DETAILED OREINTATED HAIR ARTIST. She is knowledgeable about hair care and provides professional service. Her Products are the top of the line. I remember coming here for the first time and needed a new look. Luiysa first and foremost made me feel comfortable explaining my desired look l was looking for after our mutual understanding she went to work which was no easy task. My hair is HARD TO COLOR GRAY AND EXTREMELY CORSE. However Luiysa WORKED HER SKILLS and had me looking STUNNING!! I couldn't believe how soft and radiant my hare was and the high lights were beautiful. I received so many compliments. My new look had my confidence through the ROOF!!... DO NOT come here!!! They put relaxer chemicals in my hair without my permission! I have been getting Dominican blow outs for years and my hair has always been healthy. I go to this place one time and my hair is horribly damaged and my curls are permanently gone. Even 6 months later, my hair will not curl up. I can see a clear line between where the new growth is curly and healthy and where my hair has been relaxed. I have been natural for over 10 years and one time at this salon had ruined all my hard work. I now have to literally grow alll of my hair back. If you’re natural, DO NOT LET THEM DO YOUR HAIR!

**EDIT: they responded saying the never put any chemicals in the conditioner, but I never mentioned anything about putting in the conditioner.
