Wynnefield Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I have been ordering here literally since I was a teenager. Food was always good. Service at one point was great. However, times have changed and this place has gone downhill over the years. I was completely taken aback by how aggressive the female manager was towards the customers in the store. I mentioned that she was rude and she ran from behind the counter trying to attack me.

This escalated oddly quick. Though alert, I was disgusted. How is it okay to treat a customer in such a way? Who exactly is running this establishment these days?

Dan (one of the cooks/ dish boy) was also extremely rude and verbally aggressive. Insinuating to put me out because of how the manager reacted to me stating that she was rude. That is not how you treat a repeat loyal customer.

Wynnefield Pizza was my go to for cheesesteaks, stromboli & pizza forever. In recent years Ive needed to cut back on the cheesy & greasy so I haven't ordered from them in a long time. Last night I decided to blow my diet so I ordered a small CHEESE PIZZA. Whoever said even bad pizza is good pizza LIED!!!!! That small cheese pizza has got to be the single worst, I have ever put in my mouth. It looked horrible. I honestly could not see or taste any cheese. What I did taste didn't taste like pizza at all. I can't even describe it. It was just NASTY. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE A DECENT , BASIC CHEESE PIZZA, PIZZA SHOULD NOT BE ON YOUR MENU!!!!! This is so unlike them. Their food used to be very good. I'm wondering if they changed owners since I ordered from them last. Anyway, since I only have one cheat day a week I won't be wasting it or my money ordering from Wynnefield...

I’ve been eating here for more than a decade. There used to be other options for a good cheesesteak in the neighborhood but Larry’s (under new management) is now unrecognizable. For health reasons, I can’t eat cheesesteaks/hoagies often anymore but I’m so grateful Wynnefield Pizza is still doing their thing! I just ordered one that I’m having picked up in a bit. This is where I go when I don’t want any disappointments. Still the same great, around the way steaks, seasoned well. I’m really looking forward to getting one tonight!...
