CRAB DU JOUR — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I went to this place based on recommendation. I was excited so I ordered the catch special. The catch special consisted of Alaskan crab legs shrimp corn potatoes and mussels I asked her butter garlic sauce. Once I got home to enjoy my food I realized that I hadn't made a mistake. The seafood that they sold me was bad and dirty. Everything was put into a large boiling bag, it was a mess. I tried eating the seafood all the way look terrible and it tasted terrible as well. I called the store and spoke to a woman and she explained to me that the batch of crabs that they had gotten that week did in fact have black streaks on it. The woman offered to make me another order if I returned the order that I was dissatisfied with. However this was at about 10:00 p.m. at night and their store closed at 10:30. I generally refrain from providing negative reviews unless the experience is exceptionally poor. This morning, I spent three hours in the emergency room due to severe food poisoning. I ordered food through Uber Eats and received an incorrect order. Consequently, Uber Eats verified the order and rectified the mistake by refunding me. The crab boil I ordered contained crab shrimp, black-shelled clams, corn, and potatoes. The aroma was delightful, and the taste was satisfactory. This was my first time consuming crabDu Jour , and I must admit that it was an enjoyable experience. However, I do not anticipate having another crab boil in the near future. Today I ordered the shrimp basket for delivery from Crab Du Jour Express on 56th & Lancaster, and I was impressed! For $15.99, they had a fantastic buy-one-get-one-free offer, which made it even better. The shrimp were a pleasant surprise—not only were they large, but they also had a light, crispy coating without the usual thick breading. Each piece was fried just right, and the fries that came with it were also excellent, crispy, and lightly fried to perfection. Even with delivery, everything arrived hot and fresh.
