Pure Nail Bar — Attraction in Philadelphia

I am a person who loves to give 5 star reviews when the service is great, unfortunately not in this case. I had been going here for some time and I must say the salon is clean, nail techs are great! But recently I had an experience that put a very bad taste in my mouth! I made an appointment and upon confirming that appointment I was told I missed it, it was the Saturday passed. I was very confused because I lock my appointments in as I scheduled them but nonetheless while I was on the phone I tried to make another appointment but each time I asked for a date it wasn't available leaving me to call at a later date. After some weeks I tried calling the salon and went straight to VM tried again and same thing. I called a day or two later and the same thing. I then tried from a different number and got an answer, so I tried again with my husband phone and again got an answer I was shocked to know i had been blocked!!!! I was never disrespectful, paid for my services and tipped well! I was told by the gentleman that answers the phone that was the policy, I replied if that in fact is the policy why is it i was never informed nor have I seen any notice of this in the salon, he replied I'm just doing my job so that I don't get in trouble immediately asked to speak to the owner and was told by this same gentleman that he was the owner. I was devastated by the treatment I was receiving when I had done nothing wrong!!! Add an appointment to have hair done highlights and trim came in one hour early to get a manicure. A manicure plus a refill of nails took over an hour and a half. My hair appointment forget about it four hours in this establishment. Never did get my hair finished as I was sitting and waiting again and again and again when she was done brushing my hair the young lady pierce to have been the owner brushed my hair then went to the young lady next to me who is getting highlights and brushed her hair with the very same hair brush. Not that that wasn’t bad enough but then she picked up the brush and was going to come back and brush my hair which was still wet and not finished. I had my nails done yesterday. The stuff is welcoming and amazing,everything is clean. The prices are fair but when I got there I asked for a classic gel manicure, I was asked to take a seat on the massage chair to get a pedicure I told the lady I am here for a manicure not pedicure, she said yes I know go ahead take off your shoes I thought that it might be a welcoming massage since it is my first time then. I insisted on the fact that I am not interested in a pedicure unless it’s for free!!
